i get very easily confused because i really don't find anyone scum right right now, not that i'm scum.

but latly i've started to get a bit of a bad vibe from chamber........




i feel the need to claim just to clean my slate and to help town but i'm gonna hold off on it.......

Just because I blocked chamber, doesn't mean he isn't scum. He could easily be part of a scum group, in which another member of the group killed MeMe because she had fingered chamber.

And there is still no evidence of 2 scum groups (assuming Mariyta is teling the truth). It's possible, of course, but there's no evidence.

There is no evidence for multiple scum groups, but if there is a SK, then I think chamber is the most likely, for pretty obvious reasons.

well the only reason i was even thinking of the self claim was cause people were saying i look scummy for not knowing what to do.

Then we've got chamber himself, who has done some scummy things, not just his playstyle. His reaction to the Stoofer and Y claims was odd (now assuming chamber isn't a roleblocker himself). However, I doubt both Stoofer and chamber are scum together.

Too many bad vibes coming from him, the last post in particular. It's like he's fishing for reasons to vote chamber, and I don't like the wifomy logic presented in the second paragraph. MeMe was by far the most experienced player here; I don't think the fact that she was killed last night tells us anything about chamber in particular.

Patrick: is your main case for chamber the reaction to the stoofer and Y claims? Could you clarify?

Yes, I though it odd that he was against Y and supporting Stoofer, and then when Stoofer claims a powerole and Y claims townie he did a complete flip flop.

I have many reasons to suspect Stoofer, but I don't think chamber shares any of those, because when I was attacking Stoofer on day 1, chamber actually defended him with crap like 'who would hunt for scum while I'm alive' and 'Have you ever seen me help a town?' etc etc. It seems chamber's reason for wanting Stoofer dead is the roleblocker claim.

I'm inclined to think chamber is town at the moment, mostly based on gut. Stoof's roleblock could very well mean something, though. I don't really want to go for either at the moment. I'm not entirely sure we'd make the right call.

I think it is worrying that in twilight yesterday 2 people both expressed the view that chamber was scum and they both died that night.

I thought your reason for voting chamber was that he unvoted Y (who appeared to claim Vanilla (flavour), then appeared to change his flavour claim) and voted instead for me (claimed roleblocker).

Wrong. The reason I gave was in the underlined bit:

I was making a few assumptions:
1) That since we have so many pro-town roles outed, there can't be that many more.
2) That leaves most of us as vanilla townies, or scum.
3) I assumed all townies have the same flavour.
4) Therefore

since chamber didn't know that Y's flavour claim was not a townie's, he's likely to be scum.

You misunderstand me. spectrumvoid had set out a long, detailed case against chamber in post 425; but I didn't understand it. So I asked for a summary. Not fishing for reasons, just trying to understand reasons already given.

You make a fair point here. Indeed, the scum could have killed MeMe so as to give more weight to her comment about chamber. But it just struck me that after chamber made his infamous comment, 2 players (one of whom is arguably the best player on the site) indicated that they thought chamber was scum; and lo and behold they both turn up dead the next day. If I were scum, I would have left MeMe alive for one more day at least, to lead a crusade against chamber.

It's true that your recent suggestion that the MeMe nightkill incriminates chamber also pinged my scumdar, because as you correctly said, MeMe could be the best player on the site, so she was always going to be a likely kill. And what you're saying about PWS being killed doesn't make sense, since he was killed by Mari (unless you're implying chamber somehow had a hand in that, which I don't think you are) But if we want to get picky, I would say PWS was at least as suspicious of you as he was of chamber anyway.

Since you are a good player, I'm fairly sure you would have known about the flaws in that argument before you made it. Which makes me think you are scum and need to be microwaved.

I don't feel the need to set limits. And it's not all about the number of ppl you focus on, but the way you do it. In that game I thought you were trying to smear everybody to keep all your lynching avenues open. Here, I saw you as very much trying to cruise through day 1 with an easy lynch. In both cases I have picked apart the reasoning used by you, which I haven't liked. Alot of your posts, make me stop and think that no pro town player would have posted that.
