Okay, let's say that we lynch Mole, and it was a night start. Mole dies comes up town. Hmmm, Phoebus pushes the lynch of a townie that hasn't posted? Let's say Mole came up scum instead, we have a cop and doc has someone to protect and then Phoebus pretty much points and says scum.

I don't buy the Lynch Lurkers thing. Doctors often lurk to escape town and scum detection. Lurkers are easy targets for scum. No. I don't like Lynch All Lurkers. Much against it. Pressure lurkers, sure. But lynch... no.

Yeah, LAL is lynch all liars, I'm just thinking it sounds like Rand got that mixed up, although if he could clarify it'd be appriciated.

I don't really think Phoebus's consntant 'let's lynch mole because he always lurks' mantra is especally scummy, I've seen pro-town players act like that before, but it's not especally helpfull either. Phoebus, if we don't lynch mole, who's your second choice?

Hmm all of this talk about lynching lurkers makes me feel like I should be a bit more active

Lynching mole doesn't seem like a great idea to me. True, we will be able to learn by peoples' reactions, but that will be the case in any lynching. Why not then choose someone who we have any bit of suspicion. Unless you're arguing that mole is lurking because he is scum (which does not seem to be the case.. he's apparently a lazy player or something), a lynch of anyone else would tell us the same amount of information, with at least a slightly higher chance of eliminating scum. As far as lynching mole for the sake of convenience, he has been prodded, and if he doesn't respond, he'll just be replaced, right?

As this is my first mafiascum game, I'm very curious to meet mole.. many of you seem to have strong opinions about him

I suppose all this argument about lynching lurkers will be moot when he finally says something.

Also, I'll take this time to ask a quick question about the way this works:
Do we know how many scum there are? I may have missed on the wiki or tutourial whether or not there is a universal rule for deciding that.

Anyway, I'm leaving my vote on Cubsfan, and I suppose a

FoS on ToasterStrudel

If not mole, I'm happy lynching cubsfan.

There are two pros to lynching him.
A) Either he's scum and we're good.
OR
B) We et rid of a troll early on in game. He will probably always say things which rub people the wrong way. If he is townie, letting him stick around to antagonise the wrong person late in the game is not a good idea. In the even that it comes to a three way endgame I don't think I want to sort through too many of his 'arguments'.

With all due respect to cubsfan, from what I've seen of him here and on the GL, I'm not convinced that he's the greatest person for exhibiting cool clear logic and rationale.

Hmm... ad hominem. I don't even post at the GL so I don't really know what you're talking about. I believe you're mixing up my posts on the GD with actions in games. I don't "troll" games up and while I don't believe myself to be a great player by any means feel that I've learned a good amount through my time.

I don't really it's fair to lynch me because you think I'm an idiot or something.

Alright, this is too much. This just seems way too suspicious for a pro-town player, and though I find cubsfan suspicious, ts's most recent comments are very anti-town. He's also being hypocritical, as he doesn't think we're going to lynch cubsfan, then we are. He is rubbing me in completely the wrong way.
