Vote: VitaminR

If he turns up scum, I block Klebian. If he turns up pro-town, I block one of Kleb/Fritz/Dahen (obv)... and I hope I get lucky.

Unvote

Before we lynch, can I get a quick statement from everybody on whether they think there are one or two scumbags left?

I think there are probably two left.

You know, I still don't really see the evidence against me here.
klebian wrote:Dahen, I look at where you say vitamin said an ensign fits rb. He never really follows this up, because he appears to believe that while rb fits, mc would've claimed this. This seems like a fairly weak attempt at distancing to me.
What? I said, the moment I pointed out that Ensign fits roleblocker, that I would expect Masterchief to have claimed it. I still believe that. It's not a question of never following it up.

And I'm not really surer about who is scum. Both klebian and Glork pretty much just changed their stance to vote me. I find myself seriously entertaining the notion that they both are, heh.

Glork + Dahen has been changed to pretty much impossible, because if that were the scumgroup, all Glork would have had to do was leave his vote on VitaminR, and Dahen could have walked up and hammered.

Well, Fritz said earlier he thought we were in LyLo. Klebian, I'm guessing, would also name two scums.

The afore-mentioned blocking plan is what I'll be using. Had anybody thought or made a strong case for only one scum, I may have been convinced to block Klebs outright, as I still find him to be the single most likely scumbag ... but since that doesn't seem to be the case, I'm just going to leave my "VitR town" target as ambiguous as possible and we'll operate under the assumption that there are two scums left.

Hum, hum, hum.

If Glork is scum, he would have just screwed himself by voting for VitaminR, since he would then be forced to block Klebian tonight. No-kills means lynching Klebian on D8, and if necessary, Glork on D9. A kill clears Klebian thereby making Glork scum who clearly tried to frame Klebian for Night Four (and I would not let him try to talk himself out of this whatsoever).

O'course, there's nothing stopping him from voting VitaminR hoping I would have this exact thought process, or whatever, WIFOM and such.

Also, VitaminR, if you can't say something besides "I can't see the evidence against me", just don't say anything at all. That only makes me want to lynch you on the spot.

Mod, can we get an extension on the deadline? Maybe 48 hours?

*Mashes the computer repeatedly*

PJ, could you explain why Kleb/Dahen is unlikely in your eyes? I think I'm missing something. Is it Dahen's willingness to lynch Klebian, or is it something else?

If VitaminR is scum, I think I know how this game is going to end up. The way I'm seeing things right now, unless the scumgroup is VitR/Klebian, I think we lose. Because like PJ said, if Klebs dies as a pro-town player (or is cleared via a kill this coming night), I'm pretty much lynched the next day. So if it's VitR/Dahen, we're screwed unless I would be able to convince everyone that Dahen needs to die instead of me. The thing is, I don't see myself doing that. Of course, in everyone else's eyes, it tests two possible scenarios: VitR/Klebian, and VitR/Glork. And, of course, there's that whole WIFOM situation that PJ brought up. It's times like these that I curse myself for ever talking about how unorthodox I tend to be.

If VitR is lynched as a pro-town player, it's pretty much either Kleb/Dahen or Kleb/Fritz. This puts me in the unenviable situation of having to choose what player to block overnight. Do I pick the common denominator or do I choose one of the other players? I really have no idea what to do. (In fact, I plan on creating a thread about this scenario after this game to ask about this to other Scummers.) At this point, I'm seriously considering just picking up a die and rolling it if I have to, because I'm all jumbled up in WIFOM logic right now.

Because if Dahen was scum with Klebian (hence making VitaminR town), he probably would have just lynched VitaminR by now and taken his chances. The willingness to lynch Klebian, and the fact that I haven't found Dahen to be too scummy are also factors. Of course, the fact that he tried to get me to vote for VitaminR myself was a black mark against him. Signs of eagerness in the face of a possible LyLo situation is something I don't particularly like.

But I'm still thinking. I'm going to try to read this game later tonight (or perhaps tomorrow afternoon) twice over: the first time reading as if I had no information except my role and the dead roles (not even with Thok's investigations), and the second time with the knowledge of who has voted who today, your claim and targets, and Thok's investigations.

What? I said, the moment I pointed out that Ensign fits roleblocker, that I would expect Masterchief to have claimed it. I still believe that. It's not a question of never following it up.
That's what I said (or meant, meh). Because you think he would've claimed rb, you believe masterchief wasn't a roleblocker. However, dahen took that post where you said that ensign makes sense as a roleblocker, and apparently didn't read the rest of it, because he used that post and interpreted it as
VitR is thereby quite anti-Glork. I think he here tries to get a new wagon to start on Glork.
I disagree, I see it as you saying that while rb does make sense, you don't think he was rb and are thus pro-glork, and that one statement where you say that ensign + rb makes sense was weak distancing if anything; definitely not making you quite anti-glork and trying to get a wagon started.

Dahen, this seems like a fairly big misrepresentation here...

I'm serious! I have written down Kleb/VitR, Kleb/Dahen, Kleb/Fritz, VitR/Dahen and I wanted to know if I should have been crossing Kleb/Dahen off my list. Knowing
all
of your reasons for thinking Kleb/Dahen is unlikely will help me figure out what I want to do if VitR dies pro-town.

Well, I might give you more reasons when I do my reread. I'm busy trying to read Kant for an essay I need to be writing at the moment, when I thought I would check up on mafia games (in other words, I have OCD in addition to ESP). I can't recall my reasons for everything I've said up until this point.

No, I already glorked Stoofer in another thread. Flay, too.

I haven't used the ====[] gimmick yet. So I needed to do that one.

Plus, I'm the only one who actually glorks people. Unless Ether equips me. But that's another story altogether.

When did I do that? Do you mean my question if you would hammer him? That was an attempt to sound like I was giving up with my Klebian preference. I hoped it would make you think twice an extra round about lynching VitaminR. You did list him as the last person you wanted lynched, but if you take away the Glork+Fritzler combo by the reasoning you just did, then he in fact is the common denominator between Klebian+VitR and Klebian+Fritzler.
