Ok after reading the game, my biggest observation is that a lot of people are jumping on Rosso Carne with RC garnering 4-6 votes since the beginning of April, but RC still isn't lynched when we are approaching the end of April. Let's look at the scenarios for this:

1. Rosso = town, scum not voting rosso --> almost impossible, scum would already have rosso lynched by now if so many town members are voting him.

2. Rosso = scum, other scum voting rosso --> not likely, I doubt scum would try to bus rosso if there aren't many town members voting him.

3. Rosso = scum, other scum not voting rosso --> could be, that would explain why Rosso hasn't been lynched yet since his scumbuddies refuse to vote him. However I don't think it's the case since a common scum tactic is to bus scumpartner when there is momentum from town members, which would fit this scenario.

4. Rosso = town, scum voting rosso --> most likely scenario, opportunistic scum jump on him and try to get momentum from town members to cause mislynch, but not enough momentum is gathered, which causes the stalling of the Rosso wagon.

Along with the fact that I attribute Rosso's supposed scummy behavior to his usual playstyle, I think scenario #4 is the most likely at the moment. This means some of those who have voted Rosso are my prime scum candidates. These prime scum candidates include:

ac1983fan: basically does nothing after voting rosso, which is a very good sign of opportunistic scum.
al4xz: all his opinions-about-everyone posts have very little reasoning
brewski: the way he jumped onto rosso is very scummy

I like ac1983fan and al4xz the most as scum right now and to a lesser extent brewski.
Vote: ac1983fan

I will look at the non-Rosso-wagon scum candidates for next time.
The end justifies the means.

MM- you make a good point about it being unlikely that scum would not have hammered Rosso, being that it would be their opportunity to bus their scum partner. I however am not toally convinced of Rosso's innocence, but then again, I am not convinced of anyone's innocence. Are you saying that Rosso's play thus far has not been scummy, I ask this because of the phrase "supposed scummy behavior". I know that he has been completely rude and unhelpful to the town, which is not pro-town at all among other things, are all of these his typical play style? There are also other scenarios that were not worked out in your post, one is that Rosso's buddies tried to bus him early because of his play so they jumped on him thinking they could get enough steam for the wagon but the wagon quickly died and no other townie has followed suit and hammered yet. Either way, I would bet at least one or two people on the wagon are scum. Or he is playing with newb scum who dont want to hammer for fear of being found out to be bussing their buddy, there could be any number of situations. But those were a couple that I thought made sense to me too...all these speculations are complete WIFOM as we dont really know whether or not Rosso is scum or not and who he is scum with if in fact he is scum.

I have also thought that al4xz was quite scummy, along with Brewski. If I recall correctly I thought brewski was for his stupid soft claim with no pressure on him and for not stating reasons for jumping on the Rosso wagon. Same with al4xz, he has had a total of like 4 posts or so, adding nothing to conversation, one saying that he didnt care if Rosso was scum or not because he wasnt playing pro-town (which I agree with him on). Yet he never even voted, all game he hasnt voted.

Regardless, thanks mod for the deadline extension, that will allow more discussion and thanks MM for replacing in, as I am sure you will add to discussion. BTW, still happy with my vote at this point.

Here's the timeline of it all:

1 vote on RC by BB
1 FOS on RC by kilem
1 vote on RC by IH.
1 vote on RC by ac.
ac1983fan wrote:
vote:rossocarne

wth? that's just some pretty craptastic reasoning for voting there, rosso.
ac1983fan wrote:Still like my vote.
ac1983fan wrote:There's no content to add here. Rosso's being an idiot, yet seems to think he's winning the game, so to speak.
1 vote on RC by brewski
brewski wrote:
vote: rosso
for the fact is that is a shitacular reason to vote for someone, and it is really suspicious. she might be scum, but right now, you are looking most suspicious.
brewski wrote:It would be a mistake to hang me. I jumped on the bandwagon to 1. get the discussion going, and 2. i really didnt like the reasons that he was trying to use. so, i hope that you realize that it was all in good intent, and that i am not ready for a lynch on anyone yet, because the longer the day one, the better chance we have of a scum slipping up and we being able to take them out.
He made a long post basically accusing RC of having no substance. Then when al4 was looking bad, he made a post about al4 looking scummy.

With that said though, I'd like to hear more from
FOS: ac1983fan

This post will be a mixture of things I remember saying in the post that got lost and some new thoughts.

There had just been another skirmish between Rosso and kilmenator (which was lost). I said that these were getting repetitive and I hadn't learned anything new or helpful from them for a while. I think it's quite possible both are town but have attracted a lot of votes because fo their high-profile posting, while the scum have been lying low and enjoying it.

I picked out a couple of people for comment. Earwig hadn't posted anything for two weeks. He's got busy again since the break (maybe because he saw my comment, who knows) but I agree with JDodge, he just seems to be posting to give the impression he's involved and to keep his post count up, rather than contributing useful content. (I remember there was something else about Earwig had bothered me earlier, so I just went back to look for it: he switched very rapidly from Confirm vote: brewski (Post 47) to Unvote: brewski (Post 59), all in the same RL day, which stuck in my mind because it was such a rapid turnaround.)

The other person I mentioned was ac1983fan, who hadn't at that time posted for around 10 days (and hasn't posted since) and whose few posts contain practically no content. I said I'd quite likely be voting for him unless he posted something useful soon. And since he hasn't, I'll join M_M and
Vote: ac1983fan.

All brewski's games that I know of followed the same pattern as this one, he attracted negative attention for his play and then dropped out.

The other thing I mentioned was Blackberry's "certain scum tell" on kilmenator:
Blackberry wrote:If kil isn't scum you can lynch me next. Something he/she said reaks of scummyness. I read something and instantly knew he/she was scum. I'll tell you what it is once I realize it, but trust me kilmenator is scum.
Blackberry, was this tell really what you said in post 168, that kilmenator had said players weren't posting enough content? Please clarify.

The cases for al4:
kilmenator wrote:Same with al4xz, he has had a total of like 4 posts or so, adding nothing to conversation, one saying that he didnt care if Rosso was scum or not because he wasnt playing pro-town (which I agree with him on). Yet he never even voted, all game he hasnt voted.
Machiavellian-Mafia wrote:al4xz: all his opinions-about-everyone posts have very little reasoning
I see a contradiction here:
MM: says al4's posts have little reasoning.
kil: says al4 hasn't added anything to conversation.

Saying al4 has posted something implies that he has added something to conversation.

Also, as opposed to going after someone who hasn't voted, I'd rather go after a wagoner.

I don't see Rosso's behavior as scummy since his playstyle is usually rude and unhelpful, especially on day 1.

Looking at those who weren't on Rosso wagon (blackberry, Jdodge, SV, ripley, IH), I don't see any of them as scum right now, which makes me more suspicious of ac, al, and brewski.
