ABR still as gracious in defeat as he is at playing the game I see. If VitR had taken his cue from me and vigged him on N1, he could have saved the town a tremendous amount of pain and suffering.
Grats to the scum, who I think played well.Mgm laughed nervously, his cheeks flushing in the faintest of blushes. "Patrick... I only wanted to be with you... that's why I put the game to night, so Glork would get killed." - the heartwarming conclusion of Face to Face Mafia-

I think it's evidence that Shanba and CrashTestDummie are feared that we all agreed to get rid of these two players early
It was pure luck that Shanba was also a power role, at least as I saw it."Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

Forgot to say that it was a pleasure and a privilege to play with this bunch of oldies again, particularly those who came out of prolonged hibernation. <3Mgm laughed nervously, his cheeks flushing in the faintest of blushes. If I were inclined to play mafia any longer -- which I am not, there is no chance I would play with Albert B. Rampage. The post he has complained about so much:
In post 2662, petroleumjelly wrote:At this point I would like players to choose between the Cogito Ergo Sum and DrippingGoofball wagon and no others. We do not have time to split votes up. I think if I could ultimately lynchanybodyI might try for VitaminR, but now is just not the time. It is long past time to compromise. Let's go.
Most Up-To-Date Votecount wrote:Votecount
Cogito Ergo Sum (5) -- Sotty7, Yosarian2, Bookitty, mathcam, Save the Dragons
VitaminR (2) -- undo, MrBuddyLee
DrippingGoofball (5) -- petroleumjelly, Porochaz, Green Crayons, OhGodMyLife, chamber
OhGodMyLife (2) -- DrippingGoofball, SpyreX
Yosarian2 (3) -- VitaminR, Cogito Ergo Sum, Albert B. Rampage
Not voting:
17 alive, 9 to lynch.
Every single player being voted when I requested the Town consolidate their votes was Town. Furthermore, I made the request for vote consolidation onthe day of the deadline. I never suspected Cogito Ergo Sum, and it is obvious I was only attempting to secure a lynch (Lynch > No Lynch). Your attempt at revisionist history is embarrassing.
Congratulations to the scum. You managed to slide through the game very well.
For those interested, there actually were real-life reasons I replaced out, but I will not lie that leaving a game with Albert B. Rampage and DrippingGoofball made me so happy."Logic? I call that flapdoodle."-

From the dead thread:
In post 123, Green Crayons wrote:Also if this is a vig and not a SK that did me and UT in, they are bad at their job and I am personally offended.
In post 177, Green Crayons wrote:I feel good about having been right about Zorblag (though Spyrex really helped out that slot) and Poro until the bitter end. Completely blind to Boo.
In post 179, Green Crayons wrote:It boggles my mind that Poro wasn't lynched after STD flipped.
And that's all I have to say about that. Congrats, scum. Thanks for modding, Patrick. (Vitamin, you're still p cool even if I don't understand your vig decisions.)"This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." Thanks for modding, Patrick. It was nice to return to mafia especially to see all these players I recognized. I was scared most of the time and debated posting every post for a few minutes just in case someone saw right through me.
In post 4560, Bookitty wrote:<3 I loved our scum team. Though I didn't get to play with LML very much, I missed STD a lot when you guys cruelly and unfairly killed him, and we did pull together as a family throughout the game

Well played scum, gg town. I thought I was going to die N2 or N3, I thought Poro would be following me D5. I think Poro, Boo, SpyreX, and ika all played pretty well after I left, enough to remain not on enough people's radars and with enough other viable candidates. The scum thread was used pretty effectively; had the revolving door scum slot been lynched, this game would have gotten harder.
The masons were tough to surmount early on, but it helped they were outed. Not sure how helpful the vanilla cop would have been if still alive...I'm not familiar with that role so I don't know what Goon comes up as.
I intentionally tried to write dense posts to make the game harder to read, if I was successful, sorry-

I don't particularly want to be nasty here, but you are pushing my buttons, because you are being quite rude to other players of the game, but your play was truly awful ABR. I attribute the scum win to you. I think every player played a mixed bag of a game, but ultimately what lead to the scum win, the later lynches, the outing of the masons, that whole last day, was you. And you can be arrogant about it all you like, the fact is that you played poorly, and more importantly, your sportsmanship was also incredibly poor.Mostly retired. Unless you ask or it's something interesting.-

VT, considering 4 of us were goons, it would have been mostly negative utility I feel.Mostly retired. Unless you ask or it's something interesting.-

I think that your sportsmanship is even poorer, and your play was bad, but got carried by the excellent play of STD who deserves a lot of credit for the scum win. You, personally, Porochaz, don't have a clue what you're doing and relied on blind luck of the draw to pull this win at the end.Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.-

The fact that VitaminR didn't vig you was an enormity of a mistake that really hurt us. He didn't use all his vigs and the ones he did use robbed us of an additional day. He figured out the scum at the end, but I had no synergy in this game with him MBL or chamber.Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.-

I usually hate playing scum. This game was really different for me because of the trust I had in my partners and the support we gave to each other throughout the game.
A number of us on the scum team had serious life issues come up during the course of the game (this happened to members of the town, too) and some of us had to leave while others stuck it out. I really relied on Porochaz's moral support to stay; without the camaraderie and friendship that our scum team shared, I think it would have been difficult if not impossible for me to stay motivated to play in this game.
This game is over now. Pointing fingers and insulting others for their play is really without a positive point and only serves to make people feel bad about what is just a game we are all here to play for fun."Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

In the end, I feel pretty good about
mathcam wrote:And if I'm going out, I want my vote where I think I can be proud of it after the game. I'll Unvote: VitaminR, Vote: BooKitty
and for being the only one seriously pushing for the porochaz bandwagon for three days in a row, but I'll readily confess my suspicions wavered to just about everyone else over the course of the game. In particular, I had almost cleared Spyrex in my head, so there's that. I was also completely bamboozled by STD until the latter parts of his existence.
Boo: Grrrr. But damn, end of day 1 was well-played. Any time I really though you were 100% absolute scum, I went back and read day 1, and I couldn't see you and LML both scum. Really nice.
VitR: Ireallythink not claiming yesterday was a mistake. I feel very confident we could've gotten the wagon to land on BooKitty had you not been a leading candidate, or at the very least could have made it mathcam vs. BooKitty, making her a much more likely target for today. But kudos to calling CES and chamber both town super early-on. Half the reason I suspected you at all was because I couldn't imagine someone town making a call with that much confidence so early in the game.
I thought the game setup was totally fine, and Patrick did a great job with a tough crowd. I think scum played really well, and I don't think there's anyone to blame for the loss except for scum playing well. I know there are lots of points where I messed up (some mentioned above, but I also got the vig wrong, which messed up a lot of other conclusions).-

Attempting to stay positive. We had them dead to rights. Hell, the vig had called out the scumteam and had guaranteed chamber to be town 100%. All we had to do was talk it out.
Thanks, Patrick. Sorry Yos. Sorry, STD and Lee.
It was great to see you all again.dialing in mildly protown reads since 2006
