I'm thinking that yos is scum figuring that on day three he wanted to lynch me based on the fact I was lurking. His day four reason was we should have lynched him yesterday and today's reason was because scotmany protected me. From all of his votes on me only his last has a good reason. I think he is scum going for an easy lynch.

Yeah, I started voting for you in large part because of your lurkage, that's very true. I always like voting for lurkers when town, I think lurking is an incredibly scummy thing to do and I think that towns that let lurkers get away with lurking tend to lose, and deservedly so. (Note: see my signature.)

Even since I started going after you for lurking, you've done absolutly nothing to convince me you're pro-town; none of your posts really look to me like a good guy who's trying to find scum. Not only that, but every single time a bandwagon gets going on you, scum seem to derail it.

I am not happy with the activity today at all though I think scum are lurking. I am also pretty sure that panzer is scum based on his three posts for today.

K, still have my votes. I think this game just got a lot easier.
I was also prodded.
Three one liners that don't share much. Frankly I think he's waiting till I get lynched.

SO, I had reason yesterday, and I have an extra reason now because of scot's defense. Should I be less suspicious of Rand now that I have more reasons to distrust him?

Meh, you're right. I guess that is a pretty weak argument against you..

I'm still going to hold off my vote for now.. I'd like to hear a little bit more from Panzer. We need a little bit more input from him today.

Also, is there anything you guys want me to discuss? Can't say I've put forth much today either.

Rand, I'm a high school senior. In the last 2 weeks I have had 70 hours of work, every day of school, Prom, Graduation, My best friend getting out of Juvi, and my friend's Graduations, and a Girlfriend who is a full time job in and of herself. I apoligize that I have been inactive. My main activity has been 30 minutes a day on Scumchat while modding my Mini 451. I love the fact that you toss suspicion on to me and tell me that I'm lurking scum when today is the only day you have been remotely active. I am more active then you in all of my games Mr.Rand. Now hang like the scum you are.

The reason you gave for suspecting me is that I "kept changing my argument" for wanting to lynch you. Which basically just means that I have even more reasons for not trusting you now then I did yesterday.

You even agreed that it "looks very bad for you". If it looks very bad for you, then why is it scummy for me to vote for you?

Final Vote Count of Day Five:

Rand Althor - 3 (Panzerjager, Yosarian2, Rand Althor)

Not voting - 2 (Raffles, AlexPaoletti)
--------------------------------------------
Gravity is a harsh mistress, and once the lever is thrown, no amount of regret or hesitation will change the end result. Rand's body swings from a rope at the end of the day, and the town is better off for it, once his allegiances are made clear.

Rand Althor,
Mafia Goon
, helped lynch himself Day Five.

It is now Night Five; all choices are due by the end of Thursday, June 14th.

SIRACUSA - Palermo's crime wave hit new depths of depravity tonight, as three more bodies were found. The only remaining survivor of this once-noble city is nowhere to be found, and we can only speculate on the fate of Signor Raffles. Perhaps he was on vacation on the mainland, and escaped the bloodshed.

Yosarian2 was not nearly so lucky. He was found hung by the neck in the back room of Dima's Late Night Pizza and Sandwich shop, his body stuffed into the walk-in freezer in the back. It was difficult to say how long he had been there, but his death appears to have been quick, a mercy for such a good citizen of Palermo.

Not so for the German immigrant Panzerjager. His body was found in a warehouse on the docks, and appears to have been tortured before being shot multiple times in the chest, dying rapidly but not easily of blood loss. Despite his immigrant nature, he was an upstanding member of the community and did not deserve his tragic fate.

But the greatest shock of all was reserved for the morning. Don Alex Paoletti, reputed to have ties to criminal activity across Sicily, was found brutally butchered in the Mirrors Room of the Teatro Massimo. It is difficult to imagine how someone could have snuck up on him in that place, but he was clearly surprised and authorities will only state that his death was neither quick nor painless.

And that's why you should never give up when you still have a chance. With four left alive, both remaining scum took out a townie, and that left the Godfather and the SK to face off against each other. According to the game setup however, Raffles won ties, so he took the eventual prize, and there was no need to have a 2-man endgame, as amusing as that might have been to me as Mod.

Town did not do a stellar job in this one; the only Mafioso you actually lynched practically gave himself away, the other three all falling to Raffles' homicidal urges. I purposefully chosen to include no Cops, but instead two protective roles (three if you count the Army Vet) and a Tracker. None of that did very much good, though; if anyone was protected, it was most often Raffles!

And that's really where I have to wonder what people were thinking. Raffles was never even targeted for a Night Kill, or a serious candidate for lynch, despite leading the town around by the nose. I think he deserved this win, even with a few bonuses in his favor...

Also, apologies to Jalyn, who initially was reported by the coroner as being male!

(sigh) I guess that's not surprising; if there was another scum and a SK left, the only way the town could win was by lynching Rand and hoping for crosskills.

Not sure why both groups killed us off, though; wasn't it obveous that me and Panzer were both town? Why wouldn't the bad guys try to kill each other off in that situation?

Oh, well. Very well played, Raffles. And yeah, the town only lynched right once all game, we didn't really deserve to win that one, heh.

I killed he who I thought would be the best candidate for SK. I was seriously considering Raffles, but the fact that he was hesitant to vote Rand surprised me. I figured if he were SK, he would just want to get someone lynched. So very well-played there.
