The fact is if he's working for us, the town, it won't matter if he's a serial killer or not. If, after we've killed all the scum, the game does not end, we know he's an sk and we kill him then.

I don't see how the mafia knowing who he's going to kill helps them anymore than it helps us. Especially if it happens to be one of them who's in his sights!

You'd rather have him shooting wildly, maybe killing our doctor or cop?

One less kill per night will prolong the number of days, which means more time for the town to do analysis, which can only be good for the town.

That, and I also agree with what Admiral said.

"Working" for us by upping the kill rate is not a good idea. Yes, that tilts the town-controlled kills to scum-controlled kills ratio in our favour, but we don't want the game shortened unnecessarily. If we have two (or even three) kills a night for the rest of the game, and there are no cross-kills, I'm pretty sure we just simply lose. Haven't done the math on that one yet though.

Also, how do we know when we've killed all the (other) scum?

If he is the SK,
we should lynch him now
. I'm of the opinion it's highly unlikely he is the SK, but generally speaking (and certainly in this situation) if we think there's a good chance he is, keeping him alive is a REALLY BAD PLAN.
I don't see how the mafia knowing who he's going to kill helps them anymore than it helps us. Especially if it happens to be one of them who's in his sights!
It means that they don't kill someone who's dying anyway, and if they have any abilities (like a doc, roleblocker, or worst case a redirector/bus driver) they can keep that person alive or possibly even turn it into a second kill.
You'd rather have him shooting wildly, maybe killing our doctor or cop?
There's an argument that a vigilante, who's pro-town, is better equipped to make a pro-town choice than a selection of his peers
some of which are guaranteed to be scum
. His judgment may not be as reliable, but his motivations are. There's no reason why he should necessarily fire at all, after all.

But the most fundamental argument here as far as I'm concerned is - How can we sanction using the vig as a second lynch when we can't even agree on the first lynch?

I agree completely. As I said before I don't think he should make a kill tonight.

Farkle Scores

Coron - 3150
ThAdmiral - 750
Dagger - 1550
kilmenator - 950
Seol - 750
Thesp - 1400
a3maniac - 1250
Cogito Ergo Scum - 850
Nocmen - 250
Adele - 350

End Day 1 Voting Record

Not Voting (5): Adele, Dagger, Seol, Thesp, Cogito Ergo Scum

Cogito Ergo Sum (3): Kilmenator, Nocmen, ThAdmiral
Nocmen (1): Coron
ThAdmiral (1): a3maniac

There was no lynch, as half the game was not voting at the end of day.

It is now night 1. Send in your night actions, please. There will also be a mass prod to everyone in the game, since many don't seem to be posting.

Coron won this round of Farkle and will receive a prize.

The mini-game of Farkle will be suspended, starting tomorrow, until I see more non-Farkle activity.

A new day is dawning, and all is right in the Farkle world. Save... Someone is missing.

The winner of the previous match of Farkle, Coron, has been slain.

He was found to be a vanilla townie.

For now, Farkle privileges have been suspended. There will be no Farkle until non-Farkle activity is up sufficiently.

With 9 alive, it's 5 to lynch.

Adele is being replaced due to lack of time. Neither A3maniac nor Dagger replied to my prods, so they will also be replaced.

That was a long night!

I'm disappointed not enough people voted yesterday. We basically gave the scum a free hit. Hopefully we can be on the ball more today. Right now I'm even more suspicious of CES (due to his relentless attacks on coron, town), and since I voted him yesterday...

Well.. You could say that if I was attacking Coron relentessly yesterday, it wouldn't be wise for a scum at all to kill him. I'm disappointed to find him town, though.

I'm also wondering why Coron's vanilla-ness was revealed, when no roles were revealed after night 0.

Done my reread.

I am still very happy with my vote on CES.

Two other people I am interested in would be Admiral and Thesp, but I would still go with CES for now.

I'm uncomfortable with your approach towards the vig.

Fair enough, I'd like him to work for the town, you'd like him to go about his own business, both ideas with pros and cons. I think we'll just have to agree to disagree.
Anyway it may be moot now since he's disappeared.

Well.. I guess people are waiting for some sort of defense of mine. I believe the only point I'm being wagoned for at the moment is that I attacked someone who's confirmed town quite a lot yesterday.

All I have to say in my defense is that I was attacking Coron for a metagame reason. He acted strange, and that was enough for me to make him my suspect, seeing as there was hardly anything else going on yesterday. This and the fact Coron was leading in the Farkle game made him my first choice.
