BRO stated to Docsave his own inno scan'd Sangres last night and is declaring that Sangres was going to be the Night Kill and that Desp suicided onto Cephrir. He backs this up because he declares that Sangres (for the inno scan by him), himself (for scanning Sangres and being an uncontested Vig), and I (for being conftown via role) should be night kill targets, not Desperado.

Possibility Three:
Desperado never used the Weak Cop in which case it's all speculation. Desperado did state his action was blocked on Night 2(?) I think.

Still don't remember what I wanted to go back and do, btw, but did do a Matt iso. He was likely killed for his role and the whole Titus guilty thing, not for his play, but I did see this.

(The only scumread he has that could be relevant is Snowstorm, but I think that Snow's town. By the time you get to his vezok vote, you're over half-way to the top of his iso. 1208 also includes Ceph [well, HD] in his radar, for what it's worth*.)

* Actually, that's something all three nightkills have in common. They ALL had Ceph suspicion. So that might be worth quite a LOT, actually.

There's another (similar to Ceph's, actually, but not quite): Desperado was sabo'd, yet the scum killed him anyway. His ability is more of a threat than the doc, he's a less-likely target, and if Ceph is scum, they just so

happened

to have accidentally implicated him, and we're right for the wrong reasons.

It fits the nightkill pattern.

N1, zMuffinman was a known strong player, both as a player and with his abilities. But he had rather specific reads.
N2, MattP was a known strong player, both with his play and his status. But he had rather specific reads.
N3, sangres would be a strong player, yes, but their play has been like mine: not great, and their abilities far less threatening in all likelihood. Plus, they were a probable doc target, and their reads were not on specific players.
HOWEVER, Desperado can be a strong player, CERTAINLY had gamebreakingly-powerful abilities and had a known scumread.

In short, a Desp kill may in fact be more internally consistent.
This would, of course, not do Ceph any favors, though. It turns weak-cop guilty into nightkill-analysis-guilty, producing the same bad pattern that points to his modus operandi.

(Then again, sangres wavered on Ceph a lot and was frequently asking for explanations of the townread there, making them a plausible fit for the pattern.
...Which, again, would leave the question of why Desp would die if sangres was a scum NK.
So in a sense, I suppose this is "damned if you do, damned if you don't" for Ceph.

I'm trying to play devil's advocate for him, yet there's no scenario I can think of where he actually comes out looking town from this.)
