1. There was a three-headed giant in the movie. Please refresh my memory, anyone got quotes?

2. I find Loose Cannon susicious for wanting to be 3rd on any bandwagon so he/she chose randomly.

3. The "proverbial" sport for mafia was 3rd on the bandwagon, until the players found out. The spot then moved to 4th. Now we all know that one as well. So, could be three, could be four, could be none. I'll pick three for now.

I'll Random Vote: God

Why is everyone following a radom vote? It's not like God has reacted in some strange way about it.

Note how many games I've played before... none.

BTW: In my last post it stated that I wanted to start something so that there would be discussion. I thought that the best way to do that was to vote for one of the three people tied with two votes. Since people have started talking in the thread again, apparently it worked. Therefore there is no need to vote for God anymore so I will
unvote: God
because we've all started talking again.

It's day one, dude. There isn't anything wrong with bandwagonning someone for no reason, simply to gain information

Bandwagonning for no real reason is acceptable on day 1 most of the time. Dragon Slayer is a day early. You FOS those people AFTER the townie gets lynched.

Besides, God is pretty much asking for it with his nickname.

Random unvote: mikehart. Vote: Jadesmar

I would argue that bandwagonning someone for no reason gets us nowhere (unless you're playing "claim a role", bleh). Especially if everyone on the bandwagon uses exactly the same excuse. :)

That's my game, hoss. I can't see any other better ideas materializing, and I don't want any cops to come out simply so we have a good lead on day one.

I agree with this. Just one question, how do we get a reason to bandwagon? From my experience, we get that reason by seeing how others bandwagon. So, it is kind of a necessary evil (unless a cop wants to come out on Day 1 -- not a good idea). We need people to bandwagon so we can see a reason to bandwagon someone. Sort of a "chicken and the egg" philosophical mafia question.

Ok, for some reason, I read "random unvote" and didn't consider the vote to be random as well. I figured that it meant that he was unvoting his earlier random vote or something equally meaningless.

Interesting, I get voted for bandwagoning to get conversation going then I get voted when I jump off so we don't lynch someone without thorough discussion (and the chance for some Mafia member to make a mistake).

So why am I the suspicious one, wouldn't that be Wacky if you were going by that logic. Anyway, as I said, I wanted to get everyone talking to each other as opposed to sitting around and waiting for some external event to prompt discussion. If you had read my post, you would notice that I gave a reason when I voted (and explained later why it was down to one of the people with 2 votes already) and gave an explanation when I unvoted. If you have a problem with one of those reasons, say that.

for his inconsistent/incorrect logic, generally short posts (although his third to last one was longish), and willingness to lynch me whether or not I'm on a bandwagon(implying that he doesn't really have a reason to lynch me).

Actually, I did vote for mikehart cos his style makes it rather difficult to tell anything. Then I realised that my posts were getting shorter as I increased the number of games I played. So I unvoted. Now, macros is bugging people to vote. There are only so many vaguely suspicious people around to vote for. So yes, random pretty much meant random. Although some of the reactions to being voted for seem interesting.

If anyone wants to know, my vote on God wasn't exactly random. I got bad vibes coming from his direction after he did his "I'm confused!" post. It seemed so artificial and confusion-starting. Furthmore, I'm keeping my after after God's latest post. He attacks Loose Cannon for jumping off the bandwagon then FOS's all the others for
not
jumping off the bandwagon.

Darkblade, you couldn't have said this at the time of voting? I lied when I said my vote was random...I thought darkblade, because of his lack of explanation and the lack of the word "random" was hinting that he had information about God but didn't want to reveal his cop role.

Bah.

Unvote: God

Why did God FOS everyone still voting him, despite giving no reason to unvote him?
