dahen has requested replacement. The Computer is devoting a significant portion of its processes searching its archives for a suitable clone.

Huh? Why do you want justification from me for my vote?

Did anyone
read
Stark's post?

Since I joined this game I've stated my suspicion of both players. I'm surprised no-one else thinks Stark is a good pick.

P.S. I'll be leaving on vacation July 15 - 21.

Claiming ridiculous roles in a relatively inactive game is a null-tell to me. In fact, I'd be more willing to say he's town.

I think he is a good pick, just not yet.

Are you joking?

The role he claimed is clearly anti-town.

Why would a town player make up something like that?

Erm... because it's probably not actually his role? And if it is, I don't see how it's necessarily anti-town.

Why would a town player make something up like that? Because the game is on life support and no one is posting a damn thing?

I did similar things in Clue Mafia, and was lynched in two out of three games for overly aggressive behavior in a dead game. While I suppose I WAS scum in those games, I would do the same thing as town.

Wow, so as Town it is a good idea to false claim as scum?

I am new here and must have a terrible grasp on this game. Please, enlighten me.

Yeah, so it's a sweet idea to lynch him when leaving him alive is the best plan.

well, slick, if you noticed, I'm a proponent of him being left alive for today, and you being lynched. Pay attention.

Hey you interjected into a conversation where I was talking to someone who wants him lynched. Don't blame me for being unable to keep the scum straight.

For the record, I'm still here. I'm just finding this game extraordinarily tedious. We might have better luck tomorrow if all the slackers can be convinced to start fresh with a new day.

Friend Computer apologizes for the excess days beyond deadline the thread has gone. One of its High Programmers responsible for necessary in-thread troubleshooter assistance was on state-sanctioned leave, but has now returned. Now, in view of the completed deadline...

Final Daycycle 2 Vote Count

Sarcastro
- 2 (PlaysWithSquirrels, The Central Scrutinizer)
The Central Scrutinizer
- 2 (Sarcastro, remussaidow)
Coron
- 1 (Cogito Ergo Sum)
Cogito Ergo Sum
- 1 (Battle Mage)
No Lynch
- 1 (stark)
stark
- 1 (Peter Venkman)

Not Voting
- 2 (dahen, Coron)

According to the deadline rules, a plurality is sufficient, using longest-held- last-vote as a tie-breaker. This qualifies Happiness Officer Sarcastro for execution. However, it appears that the appropriate mechanisms for brainscrubbing and summary execution were insufficient or inoperable, as Sarcastro remains surviving.

Nightcycle 2 commences immediately. Please do not communicate with any other Troubleshooter unless expressly authorized to do so. Daycycle 3 will commence after Nightcycle 2 concludes, which will be at minimum the duration provided for under the handout by Production, Logistics and Commissary's ever-informative guide, under subsection 3(af-3), "Why Citizens Should Not Be Afraid of the Dark - There Are Absolutely No Grues To Be Afraid Of, None Whatsoever, We Promise!", and after dahen's replacement is found. Thanks for your service to Friend Computer, Citizens of Alpha Complex!

dahen has been replaced by a reasonably similar facsimile, The Fonz, effective immediately. Thanks, The Fonz!

Congratulations, Troubleshooters-not-named-"Sarcastro"! You are still alive!

Dear Sarcastro.

I am sorry to report that you have died. We wish you the best of luck in future endeavors.

Sincerely,

Daycycle 3 begins.
With <totalplayers> alive, it takes <roundup(totalplayers/2+.5)> to brainscrub and present for summary execution.

Hi Guys. DA-G-EN-2 here.

Unfortunately it's been quite a while since my re-read, so I'm, er, going to have to do another one. IIRC, PWS looked pretty darn dodgy.

THe fact that we had one 'enemy of the computer' and one non-enemy die at night indicates either vigging or switching.

Yup. Three points from my read:

1. All the RP was annoying
2. I'm very confident Mojo is town
3. PWS is the scummiest at the moment
