Grib, why are you "scumhunting" someone that is going to get lynched today?
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I don't know Grib, maybe because she is scum?Maybe because she's frustrated town? Maybe because she thought people already knew her claim and were just bsing? Idk.

Is there Twilight in this game? KC can you stick around?

Plus, people misunderstood me the first time I asked, so I was forced to clarify.

Every time Nero and Ricastle say "if Klingoncelt flips town [insert townie here] is next" a part of me dies.

In post 2814, Nero Cain wrote:though I guess that Rubi is a possibility, you guys can have him claim before you lynch her and if his stuff is nothing more than "thats my read" then you can lynch him after she flips scum.

I tried pretending to be masons with obvtown-elusive one time, but it kind of backfired.

Actually...after consideration. Fuck this bollocks.

VOTE: RIP

I am getting less and less confident in Klingon flipping scum the more this guy speaks. He's set himself up to dominate unchallenged after Klingon flips town and I'm not going to risk letting that happen.

The more I keep reading the thread, the more I'm thinking that Klingon being here is going to prolong adversity over her possible flip. I think her flip will say quite a bit on people's alignment.

I've looked at bits of RIPs ISO, there are some small red flags being thrown up - I'm getting ready to go to school to do 1/2 of my annual finals - but it's a half-day, so I'm going to have more time this afternoon to say my thoughts on this.

Ricastle, can you please tell us after a lot of us voted for KC, and after you trying to tunnel KC for equivalent of half of this dayphase, you jump onto RIPs wagon....

Can you explain the powerplay you see from RIP here?

It's mostly a gut feeling. I think if Klingon flips town RIP can swoop into the leader position really easily and lead the town into lurker lynches until game over. He'd probably kill elusive in the night to stop Nero, leaving him with no competition.

While he's insisting Klingon will flip town, he's still padding her with suspicion and pseudo-contemplating a hammer to covertly ensure her lynch goes through. This makes me think his opinions of her are fabricated and he's merely playing to a plan. His predecessor also immediately sheeped me on Klingon which I could see from scum looking at a case on town they believed was solid.

He was also talking off of the assumption that KC was a town mislynch even when he thought she was hammered which seems like an idiotic play for scum partners. (-)

As I expressed earlier I think RIP is scum regardless of what Klingon flips, but after this I think it would make much more sense for Klingon to be town if he was scum. And if that is the case, then this is the last chance to lynch him before he gets too much towncred from the Klingon flip.

Ric, at this point after all is said and done, do you believe KC had done enough by her own merits to have RIP be voted over her? I understand the suspicion on RIP, it's just that I want this KC saga to be finished with one way or the other.

This will finish the KC saga. I don't believe she's done anything to look town but if RIP is scum then I doubt she is as well. As I said, I don't want to risk that eventuality occurring by tunnelling on with the KC lynch.

If RIP flips town what then?

Even if town(which I doubt), Klingon is a distraction. While you're alive RIP is in no position to become town leader and honestly I'm not sure anyone would let him even if not.

He's not the worst lynch, and I'll jump if people would seriously rather do that, but I'm worried RIP might be skold part 2.

The number of Klingon counterwagons still suggests she's scum.

Here's the dilemma I'm at.

If Klingon is scum and RIP is town, what were Boon's posts to House all about? They look like more of a signal than anything else in his ISO.

If Klingon and RIP are both scum, why did House sheep me on Klingon as soon as the wagon started, and without hesitation? And why would RIP vehemently insist on Klingon flipping town and begin to build his D4 plays around that when he thought she was lynched?

If Klingon is town and RIP is scum, these questions would be answered. And even then there's still the issue of Klingon's terribly scummy play and the multitudes of counterwagons...good lord. I don't know, I really don't.

It's beginning to irk me how people are insisting that we need a "town leader."

Nobody should be confident 100% in someones alignment unless their night action by definition says so, or unless your scum who KNOWS everyones alignment.

And honestly, I don't foresee RIP getting towncred for Klingon flipping town, Klingon, by herself has not contributed much that is to be useful for town despite what happens to her, and there have been plenty of dilemmas put on the town to suggest that she may truly not be a VT as she's claimed already. RIP also has had people cast their own suspicion on him, and seeing Klingons flip won't ensure RIP's alignment, but it would still give better insight instead of going through with trying to lynch RIP, and possibly see what is going to happen with Klingon next dayphase.

RIP also said that he doesn't get his abilities until D4, I want to see his claim come to fruition, if what he says isn't congruent to what he does or how he's interacted with Klingon (provided we see Klingons flip) - then he's most likely scum.

Ricastle - What makes you think RIP would kill Elusive tonight?
