RANDOM VOTE: Mr_Gnome_It_All

Ok, its not
entirely
random, its because his name is the most amusing to type.

Since there was no night, it occurs to me that the cop hasn't had a chance to do his thing yet, so there is very little chance of any strong info being brought forth this first day. Also, its generally a bad idea to pass up a lynching opportunity, especially with an odd number of people. So we're probably going to have to lynch someone without much to go on.

With that in mind, what do people think about lynching the last of the 7 people to post? It seems as good a criteria as any, and if anything it will serve to get people speaking up and make the game go a bit quicker. :D Of course, the condemned should get the opportunity to defend themselves before the final vote is cast.

Prince Kael, it was a singular offer, not offers. I didn't defend or push for the idea, and I don't plan to. If people think we can do better than random than it was a bad idea. I'm skeptical only because with no night, the only people with any idea who
not
to vote for are the scum themselves. However, there seems to be a consensus that we should be able to do better than random, so I'm definitely willing to entertain that possibility.

Anyway, I'm last, go ahead and vote for me if you really want to. The next ones to jump on a mini-bandwagon and lynch me are the scum, I guarantee it.
I'd already withdrawn the suggestion, besides which, you have only a random vote against you, so its not really a bandwagon. Anyone who does make a quick 4th lynch vote to preempt discussion should be made to explain themselves tomorrow, though. The original idea was that lurkers trying to fly under the radar are inherantly suspicious, but since everyone has checked in in under 24 hours, thats moot. Nobody has turned out to be inactive.

Whose problem with Rick requires explanation? I can't point to anything he said that should sway you one way or the other, but for myself I can't help but distrust the fear, uncertainty, and doubt about me in his first post.

Are you and Rick more or less on the same page here?

I was asking if he and Rick have the same set of opinions, or if Prince Kael was just asking for clarification.

I do think it would be really funny if burninglife was actually scum and my terrible plan would have worked. But with 2 votes on him, I'm not going to add the 3rd without more info. Maybe being 2 votes from a lynch will give burninglife something to talk about though.

So 2 votes, and still nothing of substance to say, burninglife? Thats a pretty lazy defense, which any scum could use. Lets see if 3 votes gives you something to talk about.

Jaguar, you didn't quote the next sentence where I said I was hoping 2 votes would prompt him to contribute something. His next statement didn't indicate that he cared one way or another. So I'm hoping 3 votes will prompt him.

I'm officially an idiot. I didn't check that Jaguar still had a vote in the last vote count, so I thought I was placing the second vote, not the third.

Prince Kael, the first 3rd vote was only after I had FOSd him at 2 votes and challenged him to contribute something, which he completely blew off. The second was an honest mistake.
