Emphasis mine. You want an active player at L-1 this early? I agree that he's suspicious, but he's talking, he's giving us information, there's no reason to lynch him yet. Also, talking about alts, other active games he's in, I agree that you're seeming to be distracting. Speaking of which, FOS: SPAG. I would just think you're a newb, but you said you had prior experience. In which case, you're acting very suspicious. Frequent vote hopping, agreeing with others right behind them, attempting to look town. I'd vote for either of you, but it would put either of you at L-2.

Mod: please give us a votecount

CO: I would be happy to see him lynched now. I wanted pressure on him, and everything since then has been hella scummy. I think I have a good tell against pulsewidth. pulsewidth should follow him to the noose tomorrow.

Has anyone observed the following pattern in other games: and significant bandwagon forms on a player, and quickly another wagon forms on a second player. In
your
experience which wagon is more likely to hold scum.

On a side note, for a game this size, I think a 15 page day one is better than a 30 page day one.

Disco, my games that i have completed elsewhere are on a private football site, where we have a mafia game section. We play very differently.

I am not prepared to give everyone my password just so you can 'prove a point'. Not that there is one and i'm finding this all rather tedious.

DA reminds me of ABR.

But anyway, we have two candidates here, atm:

SPAG
Votes several players rapidly with little conviction, easily bends to the whim of town
or
Discordian Algorithm
Votes one person consistantly with much conviction, tries to convince the town that she's right.

Pretty much polar opposites. But, I don't really see any reason to lynch either.

Unvote: Discordian Algorithm

Unvote Disco

As much as it pains me to say it, I don't think Disco is mafia. I think she is just town trying too hard to prove a theory. It really does make me worry that she wants me at -1 though :(

DA, the reason a wagon formed on you is because of your own statements. What do you think is gonna happen when you come right out and say you want someone at lynch -1? That's automatically going to look scummier than mostly anything else someone has said in only 3 or 4 pages. When you added in the reference to ongoing games, that was what spurred me to put a vote on you.

You followed up all of this with repeated insistence on references to outside games, which I maintain is a crutch and a bad way to scumhunt. It looked like a distraction to me. I first had a read on you as being very eager newbscum. Now with a re-read (and taking into account of the alt-reveal), you just come off as an overly aggressive townie who is seeing scum everywhere and using bad methods of finding them. Yes, bad methods. I still maintain that relying on info outside of the game is not a good way to put a scum argument on someone. But if you think otherwise, good luck to ya.

As far as the scumbuddy accusation, I will always point out when someone is trying to bus somebody and using, IMO, crap methods to do it. If you are going to convince the town that someone is scum, you're going to have to do better.

EBWOP: Geez, DA. Maybe your methods work better than I thought. 3 posts in a row all with an unvote on you?! Note to self: Be really intimidating and make threats of lynchings; result - people will jump off your wagon very quickly!

Kaleidoscope - why have you condemned lurking when you have done exactly that? You've offered nothing so far.
