I still haven't been able to decide whether this is a good tactic or not. It's not like you had a lynch mob running after you, and since we all are, in a way, claimed townies until we claim otherwise, I don't see why you should be so eager to make sure your mason claim is credible...

don't get me wrong, but i really don't want to read your posts.. 2 simple reasons.
1-i know you're town, i instantly believed your predecessors' claim. i really want to get a read on other people that have unknown alignment to me, which i cannot do due to your playstyle..
2-and your scum hunting ability is really not very good (at least in my case).

so please, ask more questions than giving answers, and limit your conclusions a little (in space, not in essence).

Samruc's right; I'm pretty sure the first thing everyone in this game thought when they read your post was, "What the hell is Simenon talking about?" I don't think it's particularly suspicious when a player actually asks you what you were talking about.

I still trust Simenon for now (at least for today), but if that was not a partnerclaim, then I have to

I still hold that announcing possible claims in thread is almost always harmful to the town. My fish post was a first reaction.

Second, always ask for a partner claim when the first mason claims. So again, I don't regret it.

I think he's saying that the mason should always claim a partner, and the town should never bring attention to something that may or may not be a partnerclaim.

It makes sense, but it's hard to articulate.

I don't know. I think it's more of a general rule with all claims, not just mason ones.

I'll post more, although as of right now I have nothing more of content to add. I've been on Hand banana since the beginning and his play has now turned scummy to me, most recently with his 100% acceptance of the mason claim (not so much that he accepted it but that he was so emphatic about it) and then his turning around and saying he doesn't really care to read anything simenon posts.
