My explanation. Stark comes on after daycycle begins and says he thinks we need to vote a no lynch so
he
can be healed. Sounds pretty scummy to me. Only mafia would want something like that. I really believe stark is scum because whose to say, if his objective is to survive to day 5, that he is not scum?

Killajay, you're being most silly.

If we nolynch today, tomorrow, we have majority, as well as knowledge of the entire setup.

What's scummy about that?

I dont see why a townie would be so scared unless they were posing as town to get his nightkill.

You misunderstand. I want to know why the pair of you quicklynched PWS with no explanation.

I lynched PWS because as I read through, I thought he seemed suspicious. Just to show I will give it time this time.

As much as I would like to see a productive lynch today, why do we need it if we can just win the game tomorrow?

Um... Stark... what leads you to believe that you have any chance of surviving until tomorrow?

Your plan could just as easily work if we simply don't lynch
you
.

I don't have any defense for yesterday's lynch proceedings. I agreed with the other voters. I didn't like how PWS was attacking me for "not recognizing the townie PM" despite the fact that I had clearly pointed other posters to it earlier in the game. I jfelt he was grasping at straws and attempting to direct attention at
anyone
else.

I'm suspicious of Killajay myself.

vote Killjay

Whoa, WHOA,
WHOA
! Why are we trying to speedlynch? We have
NO
idea how many scum are left out there, but the encoding of the first post leads me to believe there could be two separate groups (Communists and Enemies), and at least one of those could be a cult. If so, living to Day Five would be more than enough time to finish that goal...

Your role could just as easily be scum. Learning the whole setup allows you to target power town roles.

Or it could very easily lead us to a mislynch.

I think that we would be better served completely ignoring any information that comes from his reveal and focus on the rest of the game.

Ok, first, TCS, that's completely silly. Tomorrow, should I survive, I can simply confirm all of your roles, and we can go win the game.

In regards to flavor, I am a member of Psion, I have level Green clearance, and have the power of Extreme Luck. 5 is my lucky number.

Flavor-wise, I don't think his role makes any sense. If any of us has information that is inappropriate for our clearance level, then we're killed. I'm not quite sure how knowing the entire game set-up is proper green clearance. It should be ultraviolet or something. I'm not even sure why he would have information pertaining to higher clearance levels.

Yeah, since my clearance level is higher than his, I'd be very surprised if he had anything about me in there (even assuming the claim is true). Assuming we (and scum) let him live until tomorrow, how do we wish to proceed with verifying it, however?

Despite being moderately favorable toward Coron yesterday, I'm leaning toward a killajay lynch today. That quicklynch yesterday was

Clearance has nothing to do with my ability. Extreme Luck is my mutant power. And yes, I was confused to.

In regards to verification, I can start with you, and I shall go:

Flay has a clearance level of ----
His role is ----

Easy. Now what are we going to do today?

Argh, sorry, I forgot Violet and Indigo were not the same in this game. I'm Violet, but I thought I was confirming your theory.

Day 5 is not far enough into a game for the mod to rationally provide a game-breaking mechanism like full role reveal, UNLESS there's some split between role and faction (like a Cult or Split game). So I'm not inclined to put too much stock in stark's claim making him eminently pro-town. Stark, without risking modkill, what "exactly" can you tell us about what you're claiming? Roles and assignments? Secret societies?

That said, I'm more concerned about killajay and Peter Venkman immediately. I'd be content to lynch one of them today, since they seemed to be going for a speedylynch at the end of yesterday. I'm not sure which I prefer, though...

I'd strongly prefer a Venkman lynch, on the grounds that Killajay's vote, I believe, was his first post on mafiascum. I dont' think we should give him a free pass on it, but it's not enough to lynch on alone. Whereas Venks shoulda known better than to hammer sans chance of claim. Plus, I was getting a generally bad kinda vibe offay him.

I remain convinced that Flay and TCS are town.

Believe me man, I am equally as distressed at my role as you all :P

I've said everything I can, man. Level Green, member of the Psion Secret Society, I win when all threats to the computer have been eliminated, and have the power of Extreme Luck.

Venkman or killajay is quite ok with me.

Yet your ability obviously enjoys the benefit of revealing our clearance levels. The only plausible explanation I can think of is that your ability will list everyone as "townie", given that everyone should have received the townie pm. Being scum just means you received a different win condition.

I'm not getting a protown feeling from Peter's no-defense explanation. The "I don't like him so I hammered" is a really poor excuse to sound protown.
However, killajay did mistake his vote for the hammer, so I'm guessing he intended to hammer PWS without the claim. Then again, fonz mentioned that it was his first post on the site?
