Loose Cannon: The reason I voted for you was you were very eager to be third on a bandwagon. You gave me no reason to unvote you, you actually, made a suspicious looking move when you immediately jumped off the bandwagon.

You then (once again) put yourself third on a bandwagon. :P
You must be drunk 'cuz you're all blurry.

I explained my moves each time. If you reread the posts, you'll note that I have stayed consistent in my goals. The first vote was to get some discussion going that would lead us somewhere. My vote for you was based on what I saw as inconsistent logic. Since you have posted your reasons, I see that it probably wasn't as inconsistent as I thought but I still don't like it. I
do
, however, think that we have covered this ground rather thouroughly and that it might be more useful to investigate more people than just us two (although we can stay on this topic for as long as it proves useful).

I hate the "third/fourth on a bandwagon" argument. Don't you think by now the mafia are learning to avoid it???

All I can see is all in all the only person with any darting looks from me would be God (feels so weird saying that, ) Anyway, unless there are other arguments here I'm sitting in that department for now.[/b]

Sorry, folks. I don't see what the whole God thing is about. He hasn't done anything suspicious enough to warrant these votes. I dunno, maybe the game is going along slow and we need to go somewhere, but I still do not see an attractive candidate for lynching. *shrug*

I will
Unvote: Leonidas
since it was just a random to see if any discussion could get started and I don't see anything overly suspicious in how he responded to it. If there is something I am missing on God, please inform me. For now, it just looks like there is a group who is picking on him without cause.

I wrote:If anyone wants to know, my vote on God wasn't exactly random. I got bad vibes coming from his direction after he did his "I'm confused!" post. It seemed so artificial and confusion-starting. Furthmore, I'm keeping my after after God's latest post. He attacks Loose Cannon for jumping off the bandwagon then FOS's all the others for
not
jumping off the bandwagon.
Some of the reasons I am "picking on" him.

Finally saw the movie again. Even though its about as predictable as you can get I still enjoyed the crossing of the Bridge of Death the most. :)

On topic again. For the moment I'm keeping my vote on Jadesmar. Like Werebear I don't like the 3rd/4th on the bandwagon argument. I also 'missed' the reason that voting Jadesmar = defending LC.

One other point I found suspicious was the vote/post retaliation duel between Leonidas and Fishbulb on page 4. That kind of behaviour always feels scumlike to me.

*prods macros*
I think they are trying to get extra posts. Or declaring their aliveness.
Unvote, Vote Jadesmar

Same reason as before. + newfound suspiciousness, + no one better to vote for. I didn't find Leonidas and Fishbulb particularly suspicious in that situation.

I suggest that if conversation doesn't pick up in 2 -3 days maybe we could get a deadline then. Inevitably, someone will find that suspicious, so I'll defend myself in advance: I'm not eager for day to end, just for conversation to pick up.\ :)
...whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

I think it probably only feels that way because you've heard it so many times in all your games. I think it's a psychological trap that less inexperienced players can find themselves easily falling into as mafia. But personally, I think it applies more to mini games...

Vote Count:
4 God (Darkblade, Massive, Mikehart, Rite)
1 werebear (Polotet)
1 Fishbulb (Leonidas)
1 Leonidas (Orbiting)
3 Jadesmar (Thoth, Wacky, Loose Cannon)
1 Wacky (Mole)
2 Loose Cannon (Jadesmar, God)
1 Rite (Koraiss)

the prodding person was right, a deadline could be enforced brutally (very brutally) if disscusion does not increase, so post as if your lives depended upon it, well, at least something depended upon it, ok, just post
Oh the huge manatee!!

Vote: Jadesmar
for balance, and also to be the fourth one on the bandwagon. :) Yes, those are all the reasons.

[request] Hey mod, just for future vote counts, if you could put the people with the most votes on top so it's easier to tell who's closer to getting lyched, it would make things better for us. Thanks. [/"request"]

I hate first day bandwagons, so no vote for now. However, some thoughts, so you don't think I fell off the bridge -

I had this thought first about the vorpal bunny, but it could apply to the Black Knight as well. Does anyone remember a role called "Grumpy Deaf Old Man on a Rocking Chair on his Porch with a Shotgun" or something similar? The gist of it was, being deaf and nearly blind, he couldn't tell who was approaching, so he's just shoot who ever came near him - basically, who ever targeted him at night, mafia or pro-town. (He was pro-town.) I could see the vorpal bunny being the same way - eating anything that came into it's lair. But last nights results seem to make it more likely to be an SK. Still, the Black Knight could be the same - only attacking those who "try to cross his river".

For that matter, if the Bridge Keeper is in the game, maybe he could work that way. It's wonderful to imagine the mafia targeting someone, only to get a riddle they have to answer in return from the mod...

Wow NS, that would be such a great role 8)
Someone targets you and you have to give the flight speed of a swallow or you're dead. I'm already hoping that Macros put a role like that in the game.

I think that's a good theory, Night Stalker, especially about the bunny. We'll have to keep that in mind. I also wonder if the bunny's lack of kill was not because of a doc protection, but because of something extra the bunny has to do to complete the kill or something. Oh, and what about that monster in the cave behind the bunny? Did it have a name?
