Also, I feel that Deathsauce is most definitely stating raw facts, but not looking at the situation. He has pretty much ignored what happened.

Are you saying it isn't suspicious that you and Khelvaster both happened to be on quicklynch wagons? Are you trying to make us go through this whole WIFOM argument again? I can not believe the pace of this game, there is no reason for us to be down two players on page three, and two players in this game hold the majority of the responsibility for that.

I was on the first lynch because I voted DA, who voted herself, who was then quicklynched by a townie.

I was on the second lynch for a meta that is

important

to this game.

People should remember that this game requires less number of votes to vote people out. You should be more careful with your votes. With 4 votes required to lynch, even 2 votes can be interpreted as a bandwagon.

That was exactly why we just lynched Kaosfere. So we don't have to fear where we put our votes. We have to be careful to make sure we don't accidentally hammer, but if anyone prematurely hammers, they should be lynched post haste.

scmp, especially, has been pretty much non-participatory. His two posts have been nearly meaningless.

Hi all. I agree with DS, IH and khelvaster are suspscious, but i think that the scum might want to take a stand back and watch approach and WIFOM their way to victory in a game as so.

I agree with IH. Kaosfere should have been lynched; it sets the precedent, as was already stated. The fact that a townie hammered to prove a point in D1, when the person lynched had just voted for themselves, doesn't reflect badly on IH. Whether or not this makes him scum... it's a tossup.

I'll try to be more active in this thread, but I don't really know what a good strategy to approach this game would be. It seems like the mafia could basically forget they're trying to lynch townies and try to hunt out the scummy players, while acting as masons of a sort - masons who could turn and stab their partner in the back if it'll clear them, but they could work together nonetheless.

Why would a townie need to use a strategy any different in this game than in all the other games? It's fairly simple if you are a townie AtA, you need to hunt the scum. Period

Interesting catch in post 83 concerning Adam the Amazing:

1) You say you do not know what strategy would be nice to use in this game
2) You follow that by discussing a

mafia

strategy.

If you read the rules it says at the end that the mafia are not allowed to talk once the day starts, it seems you may have caught Adam outlining a strategy for his scumbuddies to follow.

As for Khelvaster and IH voting each other, that's a puzzler. It makes me want to vote Khel to see if IH's vote stays there, but I am still reticent to place a vote, especially with so many players not weighing in.

The Kaosfere lynch just proved that townies can quick hammer scum -- and it also gave a warning that no townie should quick lynch anyone. But, your post above seem to imply otherwise.

On another note, I really am not liking the way Paradoxombie hammered Kaosfere and simply disappeared. He has now made 3 posts in this game. The first post was a post tentatively suggesting Discordian Algorithm to be scum (for self voting), the second one saying that he understood kaosfere's logic for hammering DA, and the third one being the hammer on Kaosfere. Something doesn't seem right here... (the hammer after understanding Kaosfere's logic for hammering DA part)

Ok. Look at it like this.

Towies should NEVER quicklynch, because they will be lynched afterwards. This therefore discourages it all around (scum too).

If someone tests it, we have to follow through to show we're not just bluffing. Thats why the town lost the last Bad Idea I think.

Therefore if we have instilled a fear against a quicklynch, we don't have to worry about putting more than one vote on someone without a quicklynch happening if they're town.

Thats how I see it anyways.

I also completely agree with this - I feel like IH is almost bullying here & this, as far as I can see, is WIFOM. I agreed with the lynch on kaosfere, but not for the same reasons & I think IH is just trying to muddle things by first being involved on the votes for both DA & kaosfere, & then telling people that we should fear a quicklynch.
