Why did he wait until now? Maybe because you didn't start posting until now. If you'd look back, you'd see he put his initial day 2 vote on you because of what you did. There isn't much point putting a vote on someone who doesn't seem to be there, and he went after someone who was posting actively and acting suspiciously.

Oh, and if you don't think what you did day 1 was scummy (2 posts, a random and a hammer with no explanation), I don't know what to tell you.

Anyway, first impressions on reading through a few times:
Discordian is scum and so is Polter.

She knows I (ojpower) will show up town, so that post accomplishes two things:
1) It distances herself from her scumbuddy
2) It tries to dissipate suspicion of her scumbuddy when I turn up town.

Polter's entire presence in the game has been to defend discordian, usually scum aren't so blatant, but this one was easy.

Discordian's entire argument against Polter buddying up to her is

which isn't exactly convincing me.

Then there is the whole "teammate" fiasco. Discordian misreads and interprets a post by SPAG to mean that townies in this game have teammates. Since she is scum and doesn't know the townie role, she mistakenly posts a 'clue' about who her teammate is.

Unfortunately there are no 'teammates' in this game on the townie side, but scum sure as shooting has "teammates". Complete and total backfire on that one, Disco, and the biggest nail in your coffin.

I think it is usually both. I hope it is just the first one.
It is interesting that if you were to fill in the gaps between my case linking Polter to ojpower, the reasons I think they are scum together are almost

the same reasons Steak Sauce argues I'm scum with Polter. Totally scum distancing. Steak Sauce did a much better job of putting his case in formal terms than I did though. He's Probably a better player than I am.

Well in both scenarios of Deathsauce and Discordian, Polter is one of the scumbuddies. I think we should lynch Polter today and then decide tomorrow with more information, if we should lynch Discordian or Deathsauce.

But just for arguments sake, in what way do you find I am I tied to Polter? I just reviewed all of his posts in this thread, and I only find one instance where he even mentions my predecessor, and that is in relation to a post by pulsewidth.

I was just saying that in your argument, you have both Polter and Discordian together. While in Disco's argument, he has you and Polter as scumbuddies. Either way Polter is seen as scum and I was already for a Polter lynch anyway.

I wasn't postive that all of the scum would be in that group(Disco, Polter, OjPower/Deathsauce). I thought at least one of them was scum. But I can definitely see a Disco/Polter pairing. I just thought it could be a little too conspicuous.

My only qualm with OJ was his hammer and his horrid defense of it. He could just be a bad player, but it might be too scummy to look past. I didn't really see any connection between OJ and anyone else really yet though.
