Sorry, wasn't here for the weekend. Answering questions and stuff now.

IH wasn't particularly town-like. He hammered Daxam the post after he claimed, which could be interpreted as extremely opportunistic. He also didn't make particularly definitive statments. There were two confirmed townies the mafia could have taken aim at, one of whom was the second most experienced player in the game.

IH mostly went after Faeren, FaerieLord, and Yagami. Looking back, especially at all the crappy FaerieLord posts towards the end of the day, I think:

Probably should take another look at D1 before I say anything, but I think Sim's list of suspects is interesting. I'm gonna check why else IH would have been a target. (On the other hand I'm a bit disappointed that both our masons were on the wrong wagon, but I can't blame anyone, we had no other suggesion for a lynch for yesterday.)

With a doctor and two masons, making a wifom kill simply isn't practical. Besides, if they wanted to kill someone to implicate another, they could have killed me, who attacked the doctor and yagami yesterday.

It's not only the refusal to answer in those posts that irk me, it's the lack of content otherwise. I get the impression you've been lounging around this game, safe as nobody can take issue with some of noncommittal positions you have taken.

Right. I tend to follow the doctrine that the third person on a bandwagon might be scum and the fourth person on a bandwagon probably is scum. Unfortunately, our third Daxam vote was FLoC, who is our claimed doctor, and the fourth vote was Adam, our confirmed mason. Now, I'm surprised that FLoC is still alive, since usually doc's can't self-protect, so

IGMEOY, FLoC.

Now, within the timespan of 40 minutes, Daxam went from having three votes to having six votes. That's ridiculously fast.

Oap, haven't gotten around to posting. fyi, I protected simenon. I chose him because he was a mason who is an experienced town player. I agree that votes piled on Daxam far too fast, but we were on deadline...however, still, I think that we should look at those who piledrived the lynch. Let's look into them.[/table]

@Colin. As a mafia I'd pretty much Wifom the game. The town had nothing except confirmed townies, so confusing them using wifom is a pretty good move.

Also, as a doctor I'd either protect a mason or a high profile player. FLoC decided to protect a mason instead :/

Sure- so do I.

That being said, I will kill a threat whenever I'm able to hide it. IH hammered Daxam and attacked a few people. There's no real reason to risk another attack.

Right now, I'm going through what made sense to me then and pursuing it.

A heatherlou wagon wouldn't produce much- I'm using my gut on that. Haschel and Nano have both expressed strong opinions.

K I've read. I put daxam up there because we were nearing a deadline. I was very sure about FLOC right up until he claimed. I went for the next person in my scum list. I felt daxam was scummy because every arguement against them was simply met with a rollover and take it defense.
As of right now, I don't see anyone else who sticks out as scummy to me. My hunches as to who is scum didn't work out very well D1, so I'm holding off on the fingerpointing right now.

Well, I've reread twice now since Daxam was lynched. Though I mostly blame Daxam for being so anti-Town, I was very sure about him so I don't trust my instincts as much anymore. The first read-through all I really came up with is that I'm not sure I believe Faeren's doc claim. The second read-through I scored any post I felt was pro-Town or pro-Scum. These are the results:

Is there any way to confirm Faeren? I can't think of anything that would work, but maybe someone who has played longer knows of something. I guess we don't have to worry about this until he lives through a few more nights, in which case I'd start getting really suspicious.

why do you doubt my claim? I also think that FL is scummier than HC, but that's my gut. I don't know how I can clear myself w/o a vig.
