Also, I'll second it. The openly bastardness of the game allowed wgeurts to fuck with so much stuff he wouldn't normally be allowed to, resulting in interesting roles that could do stuff like become the first role they claim, or ask the mod to edit posts for them, or even allowing the dead thread to control a vote, and the game ended with one player winning twice.

PEdit it doesn't target itself, it can just choose to suicide at night.

(Also, the open bastardness of the game resulted in normally overpowered roles like a Friendly Neighbour Doctor becoming viable, due to the inability to trust the "X is town" PM)

Sounds more like crap scumplay than great townplay if you ask me.

I don't see the argument that "ooh if you don't allow self-noms then you're relying on the mod or people who read the game to nom"

If it's best town, then the scumteam can nom it. If it's best scumteam, then town can nom it. If it's Kodak moment or any one regarding a single player, literally anyone in the game can nom it.

I have nothing against self-noms, although I would never do so myself, but I can see a perfectly valid argument against them, as in if it takes you to say "oh yeh I/we did great in this game", you... probably didn't do as well as you thought you did.

For example, this Suidoken UPick, where the town are all going "best town all non-town lynches", whereas from my PoV it just looks like the scumteam were weak as hell.

I realise he didn't win, but I think that was due to a panicked last minute vote and shouldn't count against him, as Im sure many of the players will attest to, so I am nominating him anyway, scot did not put a foot wrong in my last game, he killed well and managed to shine as a beacon of towniness as scum were decimated and town argued between each other.

He deserved the win but for some reason some part of my brain decided that in a 3p lylo that obviously had a mafia and an SK in it the best move was obviously to lynch someone. He deserved the win by play, by a good mile.
