I guess I'm okay with lynching Oman, but I really think that Pug or Zindaras needs to be vigged if Oman turns up protown. Like I said, that almost guarantees that there is a Mafia Doctor out there somewhere, and I'm certain that Mirth/Haschel are protown.

I still think my way is better.
In my way the important roles will be 100% protected, unless there is a suicidal scumdoc.
In Zindaras' way everyone is 50% protected, but if there is a scum doc assigned to protect an important role he can kill that role without risk.

I consider myself a not important role (a mason is basically a townie that can gossip at night, big deal), but I prefer to have our cop 100% safe and face certain death at Night than be 50% safe at Night along with the cop.

The equilibrium Zindaras proposes is not possible simply because not all roles have the same value. Also there is the possibility that the docs ARE the mafia, so leaving the choices for them may be handing the game to scum.

That said if the majority still disagrees with me there is nothing I can do. But let's make sure our vig is still around before we lynch Oman.

I agree with DR. I don't like the idea that I might wake up dead when at this point, I'm the most important role. I don't like odds and probabilities and would much prefer a sure thing in this respect. If a townie dies, so be it, it's how it happens. Scum kills town at night but at least I'll be alive to give my information in the morning and that is much much more important to the town, at least in my opinion.

Or, just have Haschel heal me and then everyone else can do probabilities. I know Haschel is town, unless he's a Godfather in which case at least you'd know that?

Mondays are my days from the not fun land of firey imps with pitchforks. So this will be short. I think we should have a vote on protection plans and night actions before anything else happens.

I'm for weighted probabilities. I'm also for Goldfish vig-killing Pug, Mexal investigating either Goldfish, Zindaras, or myself, and Faerie tracking whichever doctor Mexal doesn't investigate.

One thing I do need to know is if Goldfish plans on vigging anyone. I would hate to investigate someone who is getting vigged.

If Goldfish vigs the only person worth vigging is Pug. (I don't think anyone else is anywhere near that suspicious, besides Oman who would be a better lynch candidate today.)

Could y'all post your night action thoughts, since we are deadlined and all for 3 days from now. If no one agrees on plan of action by Thursday, I'll announce my protection target, since the probability thing can only work is everyone agrees.

No, I'm not, but I understand the reasoning behind, so I can roll with it.

My problem stems from the fact that Mirth would be protecting Faerielord and me in this scenario, both of which are investigative roles. That means, one of us is guarenteed to go unprotected with the odds very highly on Faerielord since a cop is more important. I don't like this set up and it seems contrived to give the odds that Faerielord will be an easy night kill.

Actually, Mexal, the odds would be equal. I'd really like to hear everybodys opinions on investigation targets though.

The odds are only equal if you actually flip a coin. And if I die because of it, I'll be very upset.

As for who I'm investigating, most likely Zindaras.

So basically as long as you're guarenteed protection, you're happy and the rest of us can do as we please? Hmm.. how about this:

Haschel definately protects Mexal.
I protect either Goldfish, or Faerie
Zindaras protects either Glork, or DR
Pug protects either Hashel, myself, or Zindaras.

This more or less forces a doc kill, Pug being the only guarenteed definate kill. Any of the other doctors die, the living doctors are automatically suspects. (This depends on if we decide Goldfish needs to vig tonight or not, though).

Which still yeilds more information then scum just killing someone obviously unprotected which is what will happen with definate assignments. At this point, I just want a decision to be made on best course of night action

Zindaras protects Mirth or Haschel
Pug protects Mexal



....but again, that's based almost entirely on my own suspicions/beliefs, and is dependant upon Oman turning out to be protown (which I still believe is the case). If Oman is protown, I would suggest that we vig one of Pug/Zindaras and seriously consider lynching the other.
