You can't say I'm not scumhunting when I've made plays specifically designed to sort people, and one of them caught someone in a very classic scum reaction. The more you try to insist that I'm not doing anything, the more you are either outing yourself as scum or as playing badly. You're supposed to re-assess people based upon the evidence,

pick a position and try to warp everything to fit that position. Deass your head and get in the game, son; it's moving on without you.

Whatever, your ISO is feeble. Nobody put a gun to your head and made you promise reads after your in-laws left. Nobody made you bring up your medication in thread. Nobody made you keep harping on and on like a boring record about your meta.

My vote stays until you stop looking like scum. I suspect that won't happen.

I stopped looking like scum as soon as I started working on getting reactions and reads on people. Half of the player list (you included) knows that I don't give formal reads lists outside of exceptional circumstances, so stop being intellectually dishonest. I said I had read the game and had some notes and I would engage. I have engaged.

In case you somehow failed to pick up on it by now: It's very possible to learn a lot by watching. I don't have to be a bull in a china shop to accomplish something. This idea that you (and the people you probably learned it from) put forth that someone has to be constantly actively and obviously pushing someone in order to be scum hunting is just patently false. Too much of the game is psychological, and I've caught way more scum because their narrative got exposed by unexpected events than I have by just randomly pushing someone to close to lynch to see how they react.

In short: there's more than one tool in a good toolbox. And you're still being intellectually dishonest. Maybe the 2nd time is the charm: de-ass your head.

I also want to suggest maybe a lynch on DrippingGoofball. I've been having a lot of scummy feeling toward him and looking back, I remember that he replaced GoldenRobster, whom I also had a lot of scummy feelings toward.

Strong Town: Aristo- Absolutely not. His posts contain a slight amount of content, and I'm not reading them as really strong town gut wise. There interest in pushing town's interests seems not to equal strong town. If anything, I'd put them at a lean town, if not null.

SomethingSmart is sort of town. I'd probably read them as townlean, but I can see where strong town comes from.

Lean town: Ozgin, agreed. Drixx, nope. There vibe that they give me is scummy, and they're going on about AtE things and bullshit that doesn't pertain to the game. Their content isn't great either, and they haven't pushed the game at all for someone who posts so much.

Firebringer, his behavior so far has not been alignment indicative. I'd probably read it as scummy for being so useless half the time, one of the things you repeatedly critiqued me for. He hasn't done shit, and I do see town!Fire doing shit a lot, when he's town at least.

Egg, I'm fine with that.

Yume, I forget who they replaced, but they haven't done shit so far and are a notable null for me at the moment.

Irao, His posting is absolute ass as well as his content. Literally garbage. However, I do gut read him as town. I do agree there.

Frag, NOPE LOL. First it started out with his "reaction test" that sounded like the excuse came straight out of his ass as soon as he got pressured. Then he starts sheeping stronger town, and circlejerking those who are pushing people to push mislynches. The vibes he gives me are hella bad, too.

Null: Performer, nah. I'd rate them as town.

Scum lean: Ilikebugs, nah, definitely would rate them as town. Too ballsy to be scum.

Purely because I feel extremely confident in reading Aristophanes in general. To clarify, I have no in-game connection to his character. It's more of reading his posts alongside his activity level and in-depthness that makes him so easy to read for me.

I'm really curious as to your intention when playing. The key aspects to playing [as town] are:
1. Finding who scum is.
2. Pursuing scum.

Let's say you're the best scum hunter in the world. You may as well not need the mod to tell you who scum are because you know it before they do, you can't two number two. In order to be able to push the lynch, you need other townies to join in on your cause. Well, your posts come off as rubbish. They come off the same way GuyFawkes' and SnarkySnowman's posts come off. How do you expect people to follow you or at least take you seriously?

The only way I can tell is you suggesting people or hoping people tell others, "Well, this is how Killthestory

acts."

As you may be able to tell, saying, "Your reads are ass," are not constructive. They don't do anything constructive.

Meh, I held off voting him:

I've played with scum Drixx (that single Newbie defeat he alluded to...I inflicted it), and he was far more conciliatory as scum. His ISO here is terrible, but it's nothing like the Drixx in that game. I've ummed and ahhd about it, but for now I'm waiting on his promised reads before reconsidering him.

Regarding Guy, 18 posts total, 10 of which are unarguably fluff. Flying under the radar is an understatement: he's a stealth bomber! I agree that he is hard to read: if he won't correct that by himself then we can encourage him.

When my in-laws drive away I hope to find myself not lynched already, because I totally actually have some notes and investment in the game already. If you all could restrain yourselves for a day and a half and wait and see, that would be pretty cool. If not; that's life. (Or death, as it were).

You obviously know that reaction tests are scum hunting, but you say there's none in my ISO. That's a contradiction.

P-Edit: I said I had notes and promised to engage in the game. I've been engaging in the game several times a day. My in-laws left on Sunday afternoon. It's Friday. That's 5 days.
