Hmmmm. I am back! Woo. Apparently, I must be 'sensitive', as both the string cheese and the hot peppers were the 'small' items.

I do not think I like yamahako or lowell's theory of play, which is basically 'excess is best'. I take a similar stance as tarhalindur in that I am going to keep my food around until I have a strong feeling about who is scum. I would prefer if people would take my sensitivity into consideration when being suspicious of me later on, too.


Side note:
I'm pretty sure that I could be 'lynched' by just the scum if they were to all pummel me with all of their foods. Jdodge's drink did 30% to yama? Or was it both the drink and the taters? Yama, any reason to suspect you'd be more sensitive than others?

But seriously, how else are we going to get the game started? It's a bit like a random vote stage at the start of the game, only we have limited votes per day, so it will be slightly shorter.

How about discussing the mechanics instead of wasting LIMITED votes? For all we know, that damage could carry over from day to day. How helpful is randomly chucking things seems pretty helpful the mafia then especially in endgame situations? I don't know how big your lunchboxes are but mine is smaller than 5 items and I'm pretty sure if we throw our food idiotically at this rate, when there is actually someone worth lynching or by the time we start noticing people are lurking, we're going to be screwed.

, I think the system is a good asset in this game. The time for random votes is over, and we have a good idea of the mechanics. Let's buckle down and start working. I don't like how a wagon was already started on Lurker so early in the game, especially since these "votes" can't be taken back...and, at the time, we didn't know how much votes someone can take before they have to go home. Actually, we still don't know this.

String Cheese is my smallest item, I highly doubted it would do much damage (and it didn't), so it was more like a random vote, or a random bandwagon. So, voting someone solely based on putting the second vote on a "bandwagon" that was highly unlikely to result in anything near a lynch is pretty weak.

You were the third, and a baby carrot + chocolate chip cookie + string cheese was enough to get Lurker up as high as he is.

And, no, I don't think all three food were enough to get a lynch, but the fact that we can't withdraw the food and we don't know how much it takes for someone to be eliminated (especially at that early stage when we weren't shown the graph) makes it a bad choice.

I think you are overreacting somewhat to what is just a small early game bandwagon. That's all it was. Just 3 items is probably enough to get someone to about 15-20 at most, which is hardly lynch territory, it's nowhere near.

Nope. I have 100 peas. They are just incredibly weak, or they do nothing.

This is the biggest reason why we CAN'T just vote in this game. We leave ourselves too open to some potential highly damaging food from Mafia - and we will have no idea what it does. Without testing out our food - we will have no idea if we are close to lynch, or have exhausted our food reserves so that we CAN'T lynch.

We NEED to be throwing food.
