He doesn't provide reasons for anything he does, he barely responds to questions, he doesn't do anything that I can even perceive as pro-town.

I need an adult to highlight a bunch of his posts and show me why they're town motivated. Explain it to me like I'm real dumb, I don't care - just show me how and why you could possibly read Exped as Town.

I would buy that but on my only game with Exp he at least tried to read me and provided reasoning for his scumread on me "he didn't like my townhunting strategy coz he didnt understand it at the time", here he has provided no reasoning and it looks more like he's just assinging me an alignment and going with that rather than actually reading me.

Expedience is town because you're centering the game around him being scum. That person you center on (Infinity in gunslingers for instance) is almost always town.

This is true but trying to control the game-flow is and in my admittedly limited catch-up he gave me that impression when scoffing at reads, he is being destructive possibly cause that's not where he wants the game to go whereas when he is argumentative as town he wants to guide you to what he thinks is right.

b) I shoot down bad arguments wherever I see them, even if I agree with their conclusions. If I don't, it's because someone else did or the argument was too boring and I didn't pay enough attention to catch how stupid it was.

Cephrir has similar reads to mine, but it's bugging me. I don't like 580 because even though I disagree with Exped, it's not just the fact he disagrees that make him feel scummy. Ceph is making less effort to understand Exped's POV than he is focussing on the fact that he apparently thinks Exped is just wrong. Town are wrong all the time. Scumreading people because you think they're wrong is dumb.

If Expe reads that post, his first thought probably should be "I should explain myself better," which is what I was hoping for.

Following on from that, Ceph pointed that out in 623 - I'm wary of Ceph sheeping me here for the same sentiments I expressed about his post 580. He likes me just because we seem to agree - that's not a good reason to townread someone imo.

the entrance was really wishy-washy around the Post 30 region and most of the stuff around there is safe and setup specy. suzune leaning on rb for the whole "percentages" thing which i never read as SUPER SRS anyway is also meh and nothing awesome's come out of that slot so ... plop

It almost feels like there's a language barrier or something going on here because LQ reads posts like someone from another planet. That said, I was able to townread him once before for emotional reasons and I am not getting that yet here. I think it's possible to get glimpses of emotion by scraping it from the nonsense posts and whatever it is that worked for me last time is not showing up. (Someone made a point about him feeling victimized by rb for no reason that I liked.) So I don't object to this wagon.

Cephrir, you quoted someone's list of reads(they had 3 town, and 1 scum) and you said you agreed with three of those reads, but did not specify which three. One of those town reads was on Expedience, and you later expressed positivity towards Nahdia's post attacking Expedience.

Anyways, just curious which three reads you agreed with from that post, and why you didn't specify it at the time...also curious about the nature of your enjoyment of that post by Nahdia. Did you agree with the Expedience read there? Or was there something else about it that you enjoyed?

So you guys decided to beat the record of the # of posts in pregame? The funny thing is Dunn isn't even in this game!

Catching up is taking quite sometime even though I have obviously mostly skimmed up to this point. Only getting the gist of it all.

What I did notice thus far is:

1- Expedience is disliked by many for some reason that I have yet to research.
2- Cane + Able are being a nag.
3- BBMolla made some weird claim that I'm not buying.
4- Luna is probably on my side (not completely sure though)
5- Titus is probably town too.
6- I had foreseen trouble coming my way from the Stormblade trio before the pre-game phase, but I get the feeling we could be friends (I'd rather have confirmation on this from ABR though, bc I'm having trouble trusting Nahdia)
7- Other people I won't trust until I see evidence they're "on the good side" include dram (you fooled me once) & SirCakez (we should always start by assuming we're on opposing factions until proven otherwise )
8- Surprisingly enough I do NOT have a clear read on the FA+FB slot (Come on guys! Couldn't you have picked a longer username so that one enjoys typing an essay whenever addressing you??)
9- Finally, KC claims to be able to read me, so I'll let her decide on whether we should be friends of foes here.
