You also have to keep in mind, this game was made at least partially on the (accurate) assumption "towns are stupid, scum are not".

That's one of the things i take in mind when i townhunt, of course my reads arent that great on D1, but i try my hardest on D1. I usually play like this because D1 is the only day im guaranteed to be alive.

Also, Cerb's gonna be mega-pissed when he comes in and realizes there was a second cop in the game which had a guilty on him from N1 so his lifespan was limited anyway.

Oh, and not super pissed about that. I stand by my position that cops are dumb in a game with the sort of mechanical checks you gave everyone access to. It's just a lot more interesting to make people work together to figure out the implications of all the information they'll gather from their checks, than to just give faction results.

I mean, I was so confident that you had that whole cool system in place specifically so your game wouldn't possibly be ruled by simple cop checks, that I didn't even consider any possible anti-cop play.

Like, you guys literally had the ability to create an x man masonry with uber powers, and you didn't do it.

I mean, it worked out because you found scum, but it was absolutely sub optimal role usage overall.

Your reasoning was good Luna, but it shouldn't have been. Seems counterproductive to make scum faction names obviously not the same as town when you have all this other obfuscation going on.

Ummm... no. You don't suck. I've played too many of Varsoon's games. He asks for specific criticism and I just kind of pointed out the thing that seemed like it was overlooked, to me. I'm not at all upset. I've read the thread and now that I don't need to worry about posting, I can keep up reading it in between packing, cleaning, painting baseboards and walls and all the other stuff I'm doing because I'm moving after spending the last 8 years in this house.

Like ... please don't read my criticism as an "I hate Mastin" sort of thing. I'm just super used to giving specific critique because almost every large I've played has been one of Varsoon's and he's always looking for that specificity. I am super sorry if my critique was too harsh or offended you.

I <3 you and I totally signed Cerb up for this game that was going on right in the middle of a super busy time for me and not one post in the game thread is from me so erm... who am I to tell you shit all about it anyway?

Sort of had to. If it weren't for the threat from your PT, I would have wanted us to kill LLD in hopes she was scum and to prevent her from rolecopping us, since all our remaining roles would show up as undeniably scummy.

On D1, sure, it was reasonable, but after town had *4* flips to look at, PLUS their own, it should have been easy to identify whether or not you were town...
