Somewhat videogame related... My xbox live account was cancelled because my debit card expiration date changed and I did not update my info in time. Apparently when a card gets declined by the system, it is not allowed to be used again on my microsoft account. So I can't go in and change the expiration date now or even remove the card from my account, it just doesn't show at all. And I can't add a "new" card because the "new" card has the same card number just a new expiration date and code... but the system thinks it is the same card. ugh.
Thankfully I was able to chat with a friendly customer service rep who was able to delete the card so I could then add it again and renew my gold.

'Such questions cannot be answered,' said Gandalf. 'You may be sure that it was not for any merit that others do not possess. But you have been chosen, and you must therefore use such strength and heart and wits as you have.”
But from what I've heard, NMS is a really watered down version of Spore's space stage.
A lot of people who have bought it have said it wasn't worth $60. Not even close. Maybe like 20.

They're not really dead, but there are not many players left. 50% of the remaining players are IRL friends who will kick you out if you dare join their lobby. 25% are casual players or noobs, and the last 25% are speedrunners.

please dont comment on things you haven't played/watched etc
I'm simply saying what I've heard as a general consensus. (Thus why I said "from what I've heard")
I didn't present it as fact. It was just an anecdote.

I've heard several people say it was exactly what they were hoping for from it and that it was well worth a buy. So ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nah I'm gonna disagree with this. Because where's the line? Does watching it count as much as playing it? I think if you coach it with "these are things I've heard but haven't played it myself" it's a super valid comment.
I really wanted nms to be good. Haven't even watched it yet. I just want.

I was planning to pick up NMS for PC after watching some console streams, but reviews are saying the PC version is currently poorly optimized and suffers from constant crashing and stuttering, so now I'm torn being buying now and waiting for a patch to come out.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.
Super excited to buy NMS as soon as jess gives me my ps4 back >_>
Wish pc version wasn't as buggy as it apparently is. I'll wait for a patch, I suppose.

some games are really fun to watch, boring to play and vise versa.
Watching a game is definitely not comparable to playing a game
least fun games to watch for me are RTS's
Most fun are story games that I've already played, or one that I will never get to play because I don't have a console exclusive. (Like Until Dawn, that one was immensely fun to watch)
Fuck a duck! I spent so long mining this super hot planet with high security because it had some rare resources but as soon as i leave planet i get shot down by pirates and lose it all. Wtf
