Have you looked at his iso? There's absolutely nothing scum about it. All his pushes are sincere. They're not all good! He pushes a fair number of town players, yeah. But the pushes aren't coming from the viewpoint of scum trying to mislynch. Nor are they coming from the viewpoint of scum trying to remain useless. Nor are they coming from the viewpoint of scum making a move for towncred. They come from the viewpoint of town trying to lynch scum, even if their viewpoint on matters...happens to be one I mostly disagree with.

There's more to the read than that, of course, but I'm holding off on giving full explanations for as long as humanly possible. (I do, after all, have a backup weapon: only one of Yume and I can be nightkilled by the scum, so if one of us dies, the other can just convey the information. I trust Yume can paraphrase my posts such that the important stuff is communicated.)

I am really starting to think that Kling isn't just bad reading but scum trying to fake a read. I can go into that more later I think. It just feels out of place all game, and doesn't feel like she believes it. I think grapes mentioned that before, but I agree with it.

This is a given. There's a very high chance Klingoncelt is scum this game.

This is a given. McMenno posts this way more often than not. I don't trust meta enough to say "McMenno's posting this game is clearly...", because obviously that'd be bullshit. But I do use meta to verify there isn't a night/day difference between towngames and scumgames. I looked at two scumgames and like eight towngames, comparing them to this game. The data told me that while it might be theoretically possible to read him off of past games (there may be slight differences), pragmatically he's always like this in every game.

So, if he's like this in every game (he is), what, then, do you read him off of? What he's done, because his actions can still be read regardless of his alignment, off of the circumstances surrounding him. And right now, off of the circumstances surrounding him, given what he's contributed, I'm growing more and more convinced that McMenno is town. He will always be scummy. He will always be lynchbait. Town, scum, doesn't matter. But you still have to put effort into trying to read him. And this game, he rolled town.

If role-based reasons: fuck that.
If neighborhood-based reasons: ESPECIALLY fuck that, you know how easy it is to manipulate neighborhood posting to be townier than in-thread posting? Scum SPECIALIZE in manipulating specific townies in those neighborhoods. They've got a select target audience (the town members of the neighborhood), and thus, they are able to manipulate their content within as to make them sound town to you.

If entirely off of reasons from this thread: I strongly advise you reconsider. SirCakez is playing a scumgame. I'm THIS close to revealing my tells out of frustration, here. But he's shown both, rather strongly I might add. One would be damning enough! Both present mean he really should be our lynch. I guarantee you. SirCakez is scum.

Also, we don't actually need to lynch inside the event. By definition, the 5 members of "Joy Ride" are on a separate mini-game tonight. They cannot affect other players outside of it, nor can they be affected by others, so I'd rather we were given proper chance to sort eachother out in there.

Again, fuck that. Scum are scum. SirCakez is scum. Reasonably Rational is also scum. They are the two guaranteed-scum players that if lynched would give us the most information. And by your logic...they're off-limits today.
