Either way, I do not want to deal with the headache again. I think their ability is shit too (although others disagree). Their VCA was substandard when I asked them to look at the wagons. Assuming Farside town, their play only serves to keep me v Farside going.

do you think desperate scum Mathblade would still attempt to play the long game by going after conftown/obvtown? when they're about to be lynched?
either way, i think you should drop the point about their role. Loopdan may have seen more powerful uses for it, or may have overestimated it. it's still NIA. and they said they didn't have time for proper VCA.

Let me take a bite (I know it's just THOUGHTS w/o actual evidence, but what's wrong with sharing them anyway?).

I think the FB bubbling was done by a TOWN-aligned Gem (i.e. a Crystal Gem) and I even think I know whom it was, but that's also beside the point.

I think the reason was FB was going to give a vig shot to someone they scum read and/or the target of the gift openly announced their target whom the "bubbler" was town reading. (Ex: Shiro said they'd shoot me, farside would vig Titus I think.. etc). The Gem also either wasn't too sure of FB's alignment or wasn't town read by him (thus could not actually "dictate" his action to him).

So, what was the best course of action? Isolate him. Prevent him from gifting out something potentially harmful to town, even if it was at the cost of either killing or vanilaizing him. Something lead them to believe he was town (could be a reread or a night action) so they opted not to kill him.

And before "the usual suspects" jump on me twisting my words into an alleged claim, I DID NOT DO IT!

Who did?? I'll only give you a head start: It wasn't FB (he didn't do it to himself), and it wasn't me (I can't do that). It also wasn't SC (he did flip and we saw his abilities). That only leaves you with a 22-players list to take a guess. Not that hard, is it??

The question though is: Can ALL Gems do that, or just some of them? I'm not familiar with the flavour theme, but I think I can safely deduce Garnet can do that (from Varsoon's flavour stories). I also think SU himself can (I don't recall where I read that, but I'm sure I did somewhere). What about Amethyst? Pearl? Peridot? Can any of them do this bubbling thing?

I had RL for why I didn't read I haven't been in this game that long. I am literally at home wrapped in a blanket sweating out a fever and you want a VCA of lord knows how many vote counts for yesterday and today. That shit takes hours and diagrams which means in essence I don't post or play.

Shiro pushes their scum buddies but does nothing about it as scum. This is a common trait for Shiro scum. Getting Almost 50's posts that made me think that.
