My thoughts were on-going in the mod commentary, but:

Completely agree that SS claiming Cop would have completely backfired if he weren't lynched D1. GIF actually saved the scumteam by outing himself, of course he didn't know that so his optimal play was indeed outing himself.
I was certain UT was going to be lynched at one point and said so in the Bunker. Amazing how it completely reversed and UT was the one to pull it off.
The Spiffeh NK was disastrous, and Nukebringer almost got out alive with his towncred off that kill had hiplop not blind-nuked.
But enough has been said on the not reading the thread garbage.

Zito has EP to thank for his Sub.

The "be civil please" came from the LLD/GI and LLD/Cheetory debacle. The Dead PT moved me into action and by the time I got there SpyreX was encouraging dismemberment so something had to be said but it wasn't actually Spy that prompted it.

This is mostly pure conjecture, but a hypothetical DEFCON: TOTAL WAR would be straight-up Town v Mafia. I have self-made Serial Killers in the back of my mind from SAIII, but I don't see a way to implement them effectively.
I agree that a 'Long War' approach could benefit from some radiation-counter level in regards to Troops falling off late-game.
Total War, on the other hand, nerfs most of the troops to begin with, so I don't see as great a need there.

As far as my next game, I may run Pictomafia IV while I wait for an on-going game to be over so I can design an /invitational of sorts.

i had UT dead to rights

i called that the S_S wagon was a response bus to UT's almost lynch D1

i feel like i did everything i could. UT opportunistically nuked me and mastin and just...got ignored

To be fair, I think a good portion of the playerlist was totally ok with mastina getting nuked just to prevent her from posting.

I mean, I called UT on it when I came in, and I believe someone else pretty plainly said those were vanity nukes. But I also saw multiple times both during and before my time in this game that people were like "competing wagons D1, UT is Town forever" and he was one of the few people to call S_S for being obvscum that etc.

So what is the lesson here? Is it "if you see someone do something strange role-wise into LyLo, drop everything and punish them for it"? That doesn't really seem half-bad, even if we were dealing with a newbie and not an established player.

Eh, I fully believed that night that I would have lost if my nukes had been out. Also this was a weird game because I had to be scummy enough to not get killed by the SK, but town enough not get killed by town.

I feel like Day 1 and 2 I was distracted by shiny bad posting.

And days 3+ I was honed in on GreyICE, Cephrir, UT, Vi, SpyreX.

Then when Cephrir died I mostly dropped SpyreX.

So I was literally like, the whole time, it's one of Vi or UT.

Scum HAD to have another nuke. The nukes this game were too bad for it not to be that way.
