Granted, what Phate did was selfishnd he can come of a bit strongly at times however why does he have the most votes at this point? It doesn't make sense that scum would claim so early when there was no pressure on him to claim.

In some games a mod will give the scum fakeclaims, that is often the case in Theme games based on a general naming scheme where mass nameclaim can break it (e.g. all town are green veggies and all scum are red beetroot, raddish etc.)

I think this sounded like phate got a fakeclaim and wanted to "confirm" himself early.

Because its been accepted, and yes I am looking at two scenarios: Phate =town gives safeclaim. Phate = scum is there too.

No, my personal thought is that a) one of them is lying (I shan't tell you which one and why, and if you push it I'm calling it rolefishing). b) there are two or three townie names spread out over the townies.
