@Egruntz, being a moron is not a playstyle.

Mills, bringing up DS other was purely stupid. You didn't need to. You're newbie scum in my mind and needed a reason to lynch DS and brought that up along with his random votes. I haven't seen anything wrong with what he has done in this game and it didn't warrant your attack on him. Even if he was consistantly a moron, it doesn't mean he is scum. I'd like to call thinking all idiots are scum the Battle Mage Fallacy. I think all your thinking and action has been guided by an anti-town goal and i'd like to conclude with a

But getting idiots out of the way wouldn't hurt either. As well as independents, or "anti-towns".

Sorry- I'm really, really busy at the moment, so I haven't had a chance to read the past two pages.

However, I would like to
Unvote: The Fonz
, though, because I'm not at all comfortable with my random vote being up, and the vibe I got from the first five pages isn't at all scummy.

*shrug* You're entitled to think so but I'm not newbie and nor did I think newbies were allowed into these games. I voted DS initially based on other games and followed it up with reasons based on this game. I admit that I find it increasingly disturbing that some of you are happy to ignore the latter comments based in this game. I replied directly to Bookitty and he all but ignored it. Is this how mafia is played around here? But I digress, everyone is entitled to their own opinion (however misguided it may be)! :)

But there were no reasons for what you did. I don't see what he did that warranted your attack. Anti-Town includes scum.

For future reference, I just loop all anti-town alignments under that title cause the more anti-town players we lynch the less townies we lynch and the closer we(the town) get to winning, correct? Are people seriously gonna complain about semantics when there were players in this game that were so intent and almost scarred of lynching town on day 1?

The current discussion is going in circles, I hope all the lurkers are going to post in the next day or two. Now, my impressions.

egruntz: Raising nolynch day 1 is a newbie tell. Deliberately giving off newbie tells when you aren't a newbie is a scum tactic. Getting all defensive about it is just weird.

Disciple Slayer: Shouldn't be in 8 games if he's not going to actively participate in all of them. Lurking is a scum tactic, and I accept no excuses for it.

Mills: Seems townish. I don't see the case against it, really. (And Mills? You need an avatar and gender icon, please, or I'll keep calling you "it".)

Snaps_the_Pirate: More thinking, less typing, please. I can't find your actual ideas, especially when they change halfway through the post.

The Fonz: Seems to know what he's doing. Amount of contribution is positive for the game. Vote is in the wrong place though.

Bookitty: Same as The Fonz.

I will be happy voting either egruntz or Disciple Slayer; I'm on DS now because he has the bigger bandwagon.

This puzzled me. I thought I was doing a pretty good job at expressing my thoughts. If anyone has any confusion as to what I post, please bring it to my attention, and please be specific. As for my "actual ideas", as it is still early in the game, I don't have many yet. I have not posted a whole lot yet (this is my eleventh post), but so far the ideas I have expressed are as follows:
1. Disciple Slayer is a lurker and bandwangoner, and seems the most likely candidate to be mafia yet. (posts #56,#72,#103)
2. Mills has aroused my suspicion by using aspects of another game to fuel his arguments against Disciple Slayer, at least at first. (post #72)
3. Egruntz's idea of no lynch on day one has put him on my watch list. (post #72,#81)
4. Lurkers, regardless of status, hurt the town. (post #131)

I have read and reread all my posts. The only one that seems like it may fit Xylthixlm's desrciption on my posts is #72. He already asked about that one and I reponded in post #81. If Xylthixlm can't find my "actual ideas", I am forced to wonder why? Is he not reading them? Does he not belive what I'm saying? Is he fishing for some reaction? Am I wrong, and they really are difficult to understand?

No, you're fairly eloquent at this point, I can read all your points at this point in the game and understand them.

SKs are scum. They're just not groupscum.

And in any case, in my mind an antitown player is one whose survival makes a town win less likely. So I'd argue with 'we're not out to lynch antitown players.' (After all, I
am
currently running a meta of 'Lynch all Albert B. Rampages' for exactly that reason).

EBWOP: Why was I not mentioned in post 160, Xylthixlm?

Snaps, you do use too many words but more importantly, you misspell key words or switch the place of words causing at least me to spend a few minutes to figure out what the fuck it means.

I was debating back and forth on this. But after a reread of Mills vs. Disciple Slayer in isolation, the choice became a lot simpler.

unvote; vote Disciple Slayer
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
