Anyway, DH says he got a guilty read on Kab, yes? So we can find out if he's sane or not by lynching Kab. Our doctor is already dead, so DH is most likely NOT going to get another reading tonight.

Kind of what I'm thinking unless we can come up with something more clever to figure out if they're both telling the truth...and I don't think we can. So..yeah.

Wait! I have an idea! If we say who I am going to target, the scum will be faced with a choice. Kill the claimed cop and let me kill the person we agreed that I would target, or kill me and let the cop get another investigation. If they kill me, then we have another scum, because they would not want me to kill one of their own. The down side to this is that if we choose my target wrong, they will just kill Harper.

Well, there is a 3rd possibility, which is that if you are actually a vig..they kill who we say you're going to kill. Then you've wasted your one shot and we can't tell whether you killed or they killed because there was only 1 night victim in that case.
So, that whole plan is not really going to work..unless I'm missing something here.

Except it does work if you think about it. If there are two kills night two, we have a confirmed vig on our hands, that simple.

pretty sure there isnt a choice here. Kab has been on my LOS for some time, I'm not surprised to see a guilty on him. Even in the case that Harper is insane, then at least we'll know.

I'm not sure if lynching kabenon for the sake of confirming dean is the best idea. if we lynch kabenon and he comes up innocent, it doesn't help us. we will have no idea if Dean always gets guilty results or if he gets reverse results or if he gets random results; all we'll know is that Dean's cop ability is useless to us.

on the other hand, lynching someone and then letting kabenon vig someone, we have potential to have 3 pro-town people dead by tomorrow. plus, as others have pointed out, we'd have lost kabenon's one-shot capability. i don't like this plan either

Dean's cop ability is useless to us now anyway because he claimed. Mafia will be all over him tonight. Either we make use of the result, or we don't...we most likely will not get another try.

A lot of us who are voting Kab were voting for him before the claim because we find/found him scummy.

That would only happen if we didn't direct the vig kill and the mafia and vig pick 2 different people. If they pick the same person, that gives us nothing. If we direct the kill, and they pick the same person, same result..one kill and we're no more or less sure about kab.

Well, unless someone comes up with an amazing plan where they both can live and we can test both of them out somehow..I'll probably re-vote kab..just cuz..I already felt scummy about him and we can't know. And, even if we direct a vote, we could end up killing another townie..so that plan leaves room for error.

I'll hold off to see more talking...I don't want to cut things short or anything. but, if it's time..then I guess I'll do it.

DH won't need to investigate himself...if Kab is townie, DH is insane. If he is mafia, he's sane.

but..I guess thinking about it more, it doesn't really matter. if kab is mafia, we know DH is sane. if kab is innocent, then DH is insane and it doesnt matter if we know what kind of insane, right? I mean..it doesn't matter whether he'd be a guilty-all-the-time insane or whatever because, it's all still useless at that point.
and this is all if kab is innocent in the first place, which I don't think he is.

Anyway, I guess there's not a whole lot of point in waiting too long with most everyone on board about this. I'll leave it til like 11(PST)before I go to bed, and then put my vote down, pending some good ideas or points I haven't thought of that are a revelation to me.

The only way to figure out if DH has reverse results (guilty result on innocent player and innocent result on guilty player) is if we can find someone who is guaranteed guilty result (i.e. scum or miller). Investigating himself would do us no good if we already know that he gets guilty results on innocent players.

And yeah, if we do decide to lynch someone other than kabenon, the key is that we not direct kabenon's NK - we'd have to leave it to his discretion.

But kabenon is pretty scummy, even without the claim. So I'm okay with a lynch.
