You know, QB does bring up an interesting point. Than could be an SK cop. I hadn't actually thought of that. That complicates things slightly.

For the record, I'm going to keep my vote on Phate. He hasn't defended himself nearly as well as Than. Now I am just trying to decide whether or not QB is scum or no.

A question for QB... it seems kind of advantageous to have protected the cop on at night. I mean, I don't recall any clues given by Than Day 1 with which to extrapolate that he was the cop. What made you choose to protect Than?

It came down to gut instinct. I was going to protect one of the people that seemed to be doing a lot of analysis. That led me to either Phate or Thanatos. There was one post that Than made that drew my eye though during my reread during the night. One of his posts mentioned investigation and it stuck with me. Reason being that I recalled reading that post and thinking another word would have worked better there, but he must have chosen to use the term "investigation" for a reason. I don't know if Than made that post breadcrumbing cop on purpose or not, but I'd love to hear if he did.

Wow. Miss one day and you're 1 vote away from lynch. On the plus side, when I come up town, you'll have 2 confirmed scum to go after - on the minus, with a potential 2 kill tonight, 2 after you lynch scum1, and 2 after you lynch scum2, I don't know whether the town will be alive that long. Just based on the fact that Than is taking this gambit suggests to me that the last member of the mafia is someone no one suspects, or he wouldn't have taken the risk. Of course, he probably didn't expect me to be cop with a guilty on one of his buddies.

Well, by that logic, if we kill you, we're in a good position the win the game as town, as we'll have two confirmed scum, and, as you said, a decent clue as to the third. If you want to do the best thing for this town, it would be Suicide.

It's very unlikely you are the role opener: MBF was traded his role as RoleBlocker for a mason the night the Mason was killed, right? Isn't it therefore most likely (since the switcher didn't trade after that) that the roleblocker is the last mafia?

Sensfan, just because you're the role opener (I believe your claim, as you haven't been counter-claimed) doesn't mean you're not scum/SK.
