Pow In the kisser

Anyway, we need some more votes on Mills. I know it is customary to let the replacement defend himself but it's really not necessary here. Nothing in my mind can make DS/Eteocles(or anyone else) more scummy the Mills short of them claiming scum.

Why DS shouldn't even have votes.. When he was bandwagoning it was cause we(as a collective) were joking about bandwagoning to victory and everyone was all for bandwagoning. That was the time he was bandwagoning. He then called Mills an idiot because of the attack on DS. Mills was being stupid so again I think thats a non-factor. The only good reason was him going from Bookitty to fonz.. thats it.

Not quite, the joke voting period seems to me to have ended between posts 25 and 38. From that point on everyone seems to have started playing for real. Disciple Slayers first vote was definitely in the “joke period” and his second was in the “transitional period”. However, there was zero change in his style for the rest of his posts when the game started in earnest. He was voting for whatever bandwagon was leading, gave no explanation for his votes, and lurked. I still contend that he was a mafia trying to hide in plain sight.

His replacement seems to be a lurker as well. Coincidence?

I wholly agree that Eteo is looking really bad. That combined with the fact that his predecessor was acting scummy means there's a good chance of my vote moving to him if he doesn't do something protown.

I'm back.

I just experienced Hell Week. I'm going to experience Hell Week Part II starting today.
Monday: I went drinking with the Poles.
Tuesday: I think I'm going to die.
Wednesday: I went drinking with the Poles again.
Thursday: Why the hell didn't I die on Tuesday?

I'm not ignoring it, I just don't see as much as you see. I see some scuminess there, but I see it more in DS/Eteocles.

Mills wrote:Since posting has slowed down, and in the interest of moving towards consensus, could everyone please check in. If you are voting for DS, who else would you be willing to lynch (as say, a second or third preference). If you are not voting for DS, who would you want to see lynched? If you are DS, could you please post something.

I found Disciple Slayer pretty scummy, for his inconsistent votes first for The Fonz and then for me (either would have been okay by itself, but the timing and the sequence of the two were really scummy).

I think it's possible Disciple Slayer and Mills were distancing. I've already made my case on Mills, and it appears to me that he replaced out of the game because he didn't want to answer any questions. (It sort of goes back to the situation with egruntz, where The Fonz suggested I was trying to provoke a newbie meltdown; but at what point is it acceptable to hold someone accountable for their behaviour? I did not think my questions were unfair or especially provoking.)

My vote will stay on Mills at least for now because I'm more convinced that he's scum, but I could easily see Disciple Slayer as his scumpartner due to the over-the-top interaction between the two of them. If my vote was not on Mills, it would be on Disciple Slayer.

@Mod
Is Mills being replaced?
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

I don't like the eteocles wagon. It feels contrived, and I think there's a good possibility it's scum-driven. I really didn't find DS that scummy, just stupid. The Mills wagon is much better.

We're 4 days from deadline. Our two lynch candidates have both been replaced. Antithesis hasn't had time to catch up, Eteocles has had 8 days. I hope Antithesis contributes before deadline. Even if he doesn't, I'd rather lynch Eteocles.

Everyone needs to read the game and post before we hit deadline. Continued stalling only helps the scum.
