First -- ''Trying to look active'' makes no sense. One is either active or not active. There is no such thing as ''looking active.''
Second -- It's early in the game, how is someone supposed to add content this early when it's barely started?
Overall -- Your reason for voting RC is completely invalid. The accusation is a huge stretch and I'm unsure at this moment whether I consider this a scumtell or not.-

Do you care to explain why you are voting me? O_oEarwig wrote:
No, I'm trying to make everyone think we're scum buddies by defending you.Ectomancer wrote:Trying to get in my good graces Earwig? Scum...
On another note, SlySly has only had 3 posts. The first a random vote - nothing unusual there. The next 2 were nothing of substance. Seems to be lurking to me.
At first look, it might appear that Rosso Carne is lurking as well. I've been in game or 2 with him - this seems to be his play style. That, or he really is always scum.
Also, I have to agree with Nyktorion:
However, I'm going to go one step further.Nyktorion wrote:
Well, it is still possible to have many posts without really saying much (or in other words: to have a good difference between the number of posts and the number of relevant posts). And while you are right that my accusation might be miniscule in a progressed game, I think it is still a good reason for a vote considering the current ((semi-)random) state of the game, and the other possible reasons to vote for someone currently.Blackberry wrote:Nyktorion wrote:Unvote, Vote: Rosso Carnefor trying to look active without adding content.Although I appreciate the support on voting off the Nazi, I have a large problem with your ''reason''.

However, I find it quite interesting how you fiercely you are rushing towards Rosso's defence in the face of my rather semi-random accusation. Might be a slight first tell that you both have the same alignment, and that you know about that.
Unvote: thenextepisode

Yes, I realize that puts Blackberry at 3 votes - no danger of lynch yet.
On a side note -- I know nothing of RC's alignment. I simply found your "reason" suspiscious.-

Speaking of which, I had no idea what mountainous meant. I've never heard that as "slang" but I will go look into it and see what I find.
I still argue there is no such thing as "looking active," you are either active or not action. Posting content or not posting content. Being active and posting content are two unrelated concepts that do not intertwine.
Ryan's last two posts are oddly suspiscious to me. I can't point out the exact reason why, but I am not satisfied with his imput.-

JESTER -- Ooo, interesting. It sounds somewhat clever, but beyond that I think it'd be an idiotic strategy. Attempting to communicate IN-GAME is completely stupid.
I'm going to compare styles of people's past games (Rosso and Earwig), as I've examined Strawberry and have a small theory but I must look into it more.-

Might I recommend reading Rule 6a again? - Tar
BlackBerry, it is odd that you would mention a theory, but not want expound upon it, even if it turned out to be false. Is there still some portion of the theory you are hoping to be born out that revealing would render invalid? Otherwise I'm not quite following your reasoning.
Satisfied?-

thenextepisode and ryan are both on my scumrader (even though my scum radar probably sucks), but I am unsure why... here are some potential reasons:
1) They both are attempting to throw suspiscion on me because I want share a theory? How is that scummy!?!?
2) They both appear unintelligent to me
3) Perhaps I am offended they do not capitilze their names
4) Perhaps one or more of them scare me because of his image icon
I have come to learn (through reading and college courses) that analying ones opinions can lead us to more likely make an error. As a result, I am not going to state my exact justifications for said opinions, because I could be completley mistaken. I believe it is impossible for one to know one's exact REASONS for said opinions.
By the way -- if Ectomancer is scum, you are doing a brilliant job (aka I'm pretty sure you are pro-town).
THENEXTEPISODE -- Because I thought the theory was going to be signifigant and I could share with yall my revelation. But it did not work in this case. (red font means harass him)-

and i dont know if its just ecto's playstyle, but he seems overly aggressive and it feels scummy to me
and 3 votes on earwig is making me uneasyI do not comprehend why you go from "fine I don't care" to reasking me again why I had a theory." You did this AFTER other comments were said and ryan got somewhat frustrated with the thing.
This has led me to believe you have used ryan's frustration as an idea to spread suspiscion on me because I "won't share my theory." If my thoughts are right, this leads me to believe you are scum and ryan is just a townie (aka he isn't scum).

Although I do not believe my logic is flawed, you not voting for me makes me question, JUST slightly, my suspicions on you. In my opinion, a typical mafia move would be to attack me back and vote me. Yet you didn't vote me, you just FOSed me. Which makes me waver my opinion of you O_o.thenextepisode wrote:your logic is flawed.
i didnt ask what the theory was again in the 3rd post, i just suggested that if you have a theory, keep it to yourself until you know that you can show it, otherwise its just a red herring.
using craplogic to try to throw suspicion on me is a scumtell, but it doesnt warrant a vote

This sort of thing is regarded as unfair on this forum. That said, I do it fairly frequently. What you're definitely not allowed to do, though, are reference other games on this forum that are currently in progress. You've been here for three years. You should know this. Now, all of this being said, I can't find another game where you've gone color/text size crazy like you have in this one. It must mean something.Blackberry wrote:I looky at RC's past games. I only continued to do it in different colors to mock whomever it was that brought it up in the first place (you?).
If you noticed, my "PREVIOUS GAMES" are all quite from a LONG time ago. This is one of my first games I've played in a LONG time. I'm currently in one other game and then three games JUST started. I do not recall if I am using colored text in the other game I've been playing in, but I can check. .
I also enjoy using Size 17 text, am I allowed to do that in this game? Another MOD got mad at me for it .
Jester -- if you want to refrence my MISH MASH games you can see I certainly enjoy using colored-text. (I've been hosting Mish-Mash games a lot recently, but haven't been playing mafia until now).-

I do not like this post. O_oJohoohno wrote:Sounds to me as a lot of old arguments are only spinning in circles right now. Seems as if the town has five lynch candidates:
Rosso - The condescending and uninformative poster
Blackberry - The flamboyant poster
Earwig - The amnesiac poster
Tamuz - The lurking non-poster
thenextepisode - The (theory) inquisitive poster
Which one of these gentlemen do you all feel okay to lynch today? I can’t say I have a strong case against anyone of them, but I’m willing to swing my vote to almost anyone of them to increase some pressure. (Though, as of now, I would prefer either Earwig or Tamuz (and possibly a dark horse: slysly) to be the lynch of the day.)-

2) It isn't out of no where. I've already said before that your posts were suspiscious and I called you scum in one post. Plus you are FOSing and voting me for no reason whatsoever.-

This is not a game of "READING", it is a game of lying and detecting scum. If you want a "READING GAME" go to a library or something.ryan wrote:1) When you argue that somebody is "scum" without evidence THAT is a bad argument, please read what I type and not what you want to read. Now see, if you were TOWN and really thought I was SCUM, you wouldn't be calling me an IDIOT because you'd be thinking I'm just doing this cuz I'm scum. But calling me an idiot implies that you think I'm doing bad play as town .-

If I were scum I would be doing this out of purpose, but since you are calling me an "idiot" and "smoking the pipe" you are inferring I am being unintelligent, aka, you know I am town being "unintelligent"... but how would you know that--unless, of course, you are scum!ryan wrote:Sure it is Blackberry, keep smoking the pipe my friend-
