If we want to use confirmation posts as scumtells, why hasn't anyone brought up mbf's post where he said he would enjoy playing with mbl?
This is more of a "town-tell". Afterall, I can't enjoy playing with MBL if I kill him, can I?

Since when do people have to die before scum start using their brains? Scum can already post with foresight and consideration from the moment they get their role.

The same could be said about TSQ who suggested lynching DGB pregame...

I have paper notes up until post 145. I need quite some time to catch up in that department (so if my posting drops you know why that is.

Based on the Iammars mess, I'm tossing up between Thesp, Guardian and Gorrad right now. I'm going to reread all three and see what I come up with.
Ergo pretty much summarized my thoughts. I suspect those three as well. Since Guardian made various solid points about Thesp, I suspect Thesp more than Guardian and I am considering switching my vote to Thesp.

I need to do some rereading but there are various false assumptions floating around that need to be rectified. The people who make them are either not paying attention or trying to manipulate others to eliminate an opposing team.

One such false assumption is that since the pirate finder is town, pirates must be scum. Let's wait for a dead pirate before we draw any conclusions. Personally, I think ninjas and pirates are two separate factions as the game implies that both include scum.

While I agree that it is conceivable for there to be pirate and ninja town roles, we have to be wary of "Oh, I'm a ninja, but I'm like Robin Hood ninja, I'm really town ;)" and other less stupid tricks.

But I also agree with the notion that we need to wait for a dead pirate, ninja and/or other before we start drawing conclusions. And for the "twist"... there really isn't anything so far that says the scum groups HAVE to be ninjas and pirates... it's just the flavor for the game.

BTW, the conversation me and my friends had said that as long as the battle was on water or a ship a pirate would win, otherwise in towns and wilderness area's it's the ninja that takes the cake (port towns were a tossup).

How do you justify that?

Because I hate her and all she stands for. All she does is be useless for 70% of the game, and then for the last 30% she becomes, amazingly, more useless. She posts stupid vote analysis' which I have yet to ever see catch scum. They're just basically retarded. Basically, she's the definition of idiocy and dislogic, and I hate playing with her. I would love to see her hang, regardless of alignment, in pretty much any game.

Oh, and to the end of your question. maybe I dont feel the need to "justify" everything I feel. Perhaps it's not justified to feel that way. Perhaps I just hate her so much that I don't care.

Which means you arent disappointed at not getting to lynch her at all. You are thrilled that she got nightkilled. So you lied.

Or you want to waste the town's day on a personal (albeit understandable having wanted to pull my hair out while playing with her) vendetta. Your stated preference is that you hoped an extremely distracting player would stay alive so she could distract the town all day one. Which we both know results in a far less useful day one.

I see that as far scummier than say, Iammers, silly pirate yar that took up so much of the last 10 pages of, as Thesp so aptly put it, verbal diarrhea.

:( I like playing with DGB, or at least I did before my hiatus. Nothing notably either way in any of the games I've played with her sense.

No, as happy as I am that she's not in the game anymore, I would take pleasure in lynching her. If you think it's "Scummy" or whatever, I have history of doing personal things in games before as town. Check out Bad idea II for an example.

I like DGB as a person. I found her extremely frustrating in the one game I was in with her. But that's neither here nor there. What is notable is TSQs approach to the issue. Not necessarily worth a vote yet though. I mean there's WIFOM, right. Flameaxe and TSQ are all "lets lynch DGB" and then she's dead. Which TSQ is too smart too have done unless he really is playing a WIFOM gamble and getting rid of a person he loathes. Which I CAN see him doing. I CANNOT see him actually wishing she was alive on day one so he could fuck with her. I think he takes his games more seriously than that.

So I think him saying that is bull.

I'll check your link but anti-town is anti-town. It's noted. I'm not voting based on it yet.

Confirm and /in.
And DGB ends up dead.

Frankly I wouldnt vote for either of you based on it alone because I pretty much assumed DGB's kill was designed to make you look bad. It was TSQ's response that made me raise my eyebrows a bit though.

But since you asked why you are implicated, now you know.

I don't plan on it. I can't let a dumbass run wild like that, taking advantage of whatever random pre-game posts he can get his hands on. This is just plain silly, and your argument with Shea is getting us nowhere.
