no its defo green vs non green. However EVERYONE has claimed a green veg, therefore we KNOW the scum faction are lying. I think the cucumber, lettuce and green pepper are the lies, as all the other veg both claimed and known fit the category I am pushing.

Just for kicks, I Googled the terms: Britain, Green Pepper, Roast Dinner

On the first page were three recipes using peppers in roasts (one is red, but still- its a capsicum). One of the wesites is Yahoo UK, another a Canadian one (I think...they're close in some culture, aren't they?) and Food Network.

to put it plainly, i find the roast veggie theory to be completely random. we can probably find other patterns if we look hard enough (as someone already pointed out with the january theory).

getting back to the game, despite Phate's opposition, i think we should pick the least likely vegetable to be part of the greens.

i'm sticking to my original idea that Green Bean and Green Pepper do not cut it. now that i've claimed, I'm going to go back to the original theory and go for Green Pepper (gorckat).

Yup. A majority has decided to lynch WhoMe?, helped by WhoMe? himself. Maybe he was scum looking to shut down conversation for the day? Well, no actually, he was telling the truth when he said he was just a cabbage. Since he was green, he wasn't part of the non green mafia.

I think this is potentially LYLO, assuming 2 scum and an active 2nd killer (ie, not a one-shot vig):

I hadn't pegged Oman for Cop at all, but it makes sense to me in a weird way.

well now that oman was the cop, it becomes clear that destructor's unofficial semi-claim was false. I believe that he could have made that comment in his vote on crub for one of 2 reasons:
a) he was trying to appear to have had a decent reason for his vote when in reality he didnt
b) he was scum trying to claim to avoid lynch

I think that although possible, option a is rather unlikely. So my only thinking is that option b is true and destructor is scum. so with that

Assuming two scum left, which I'm pretty sure is the case, I think we'll find them in gorckat, Bookitty or Crub based on the roles we know and those that are near-confirmed (ie, soup, Phate and tdp).

I'd like to know why you consider Phate and tdp confirmed other than their shoddy claims? Phate I can see because the whole safe-claim banter that went along with it, but tdp's claim is still pretty iffy with me. Why wouldn't scum with a safe claim take the opportunity to claim there? Especially when you take into account tdp's other recent moves, which IMO have been less than pro-town.

One of the reasons I didn't vote you. What you did was, as said before, water muddying, and could have drawn Oman out. Looking back to see if he dropped clues as to whom he looked at night one, there were a few times he strongly hinted at being a unique role (such as saying he knew why his name wouldn't match anyone else's).

Drawing him out in the day could only help scum, which makes the whole half claim thing fishy.

I was, and am, willing to see it as a gambit like the fake vote, but it still warrants attention.

I agree that soup is near confirmed (like 99.9% with the breadcrumb), and Phate I think is because the claim was so sloppy.

In the neutral/slightly scummy rank I'd put destructor and tdp, both with flags raised (tdp's claim could have been scum shooting in to establish themselves).

Crub and Kitty I have to re-read to get a handle on. They've both slipped under the radar. destructor could have been making some space between he and Crub. I'll have to look for links.

I agree, and since I've been trying to piece this setup together, I'm becoming more sceptical of the vanilla claims. It also occurs to me now that if scum were given safe-claims, which seems to be the case, that they would have know long before most of the town that all vanillas

weren't

the same vegetable, which is something to consider.

I really have to think about this. =/
