Oh, figured.[/quote]
Actually I have. But I was curious why TSQ was putting pressure on a Twomz for not posting much and ignoring all of the other people who werem't posting much. You were a convenient example.
Kison's vote on Rosso Carne makes me feel a bit better on him; I was considering the possibility of a Iammars/Kison/RC lurker scum group.
unvote TSQ, FOS TSQ, vote Rosso CarneI replaced into Chess Mafia for 6 months, and all I got was a win and this lousy sig.-

If you'd read my post at ALL and not just pretend it says what you think it did (this is now the third time I've corrected you) you'd know that I NEVER FUCKING SAID THAT. My attack, and subsequent vote on Twomz was for lurking in PLAIN SIGHT, and using continual appeals to emotion as a smoke screen for that fact, in addition, as an ADDENDUM I said I didn't like how his "Big contribution" to the game thus far was to vote the player with the most votes, with 2 sentances of unoriginal reasoning. Thats not even close to what you keep misscharacterizing it as.tout comprendre c'est tout pardonner-

I'm trying to decide if MBL's play is scummy or stupid, and I'm leaning towards the latter. Anyone know if his play is usually this terrible?I will not assume everyone with blue eyes has Mako poisoning

I think it's unlikely he's scum right now - I find it highly unlikely scum would fake a dayvig like he did.Gorrad wrote:I'm trying to decide if MBL's play is scummy or stupid, and I'm leaning towards the latter. Pfft @ Gorrad/Hasdgfas: Because you know, everyone always contributes so much on Day 1. I consider myself uncontributional until I either start a proper bandwagon, help pick out a scum or figure out some big important fact about the game. And y'all aren't 'confirmed' innocents until one of you gets killed."It's not a logical inconsistency. B can't be correct because then C would be, but it doesn't go the other way - there's nothing wrong with C being correct. Aside from Twomz saying otherwise." --Mith-

Why not? What would scum stand to lose by doing so? Certainly their scumpartners wouldn't be endangered by it, and they'd have a shot at outing a member of the opposite scumgroup... unless there IS no opposite scumgroup.Thesp wrote:

Terrible, terrible playstyle. Always try and contribute. As for the confirmation, I want you to think about that. Would scum honestly claim their partner for the same reasons I did? I thought I was dead, so I claimed to confirm another innocent. If I was scum, I would have said Bah or at least not brought another scum with me.Twomz wrote:Pfft @ Gorrad/Hasdgfas: Because you know, everyone always contributes so much on Day 1. Choose your words more carefully... this sentence implies that you know they're real pro-town masons but the town won't know that until one of them dies. OR it implies that you're scumpartners with them.Twomz wrote:And y'all aren't 'confirmed' innocents until one of you gets killed.

And man, I completely forgot we already know MBL's alignment. Just stupid play then. The clarification being a) faking a dayvig you do not have (I find faked roles scummy/bad play no matter the context) and then b) denying the fact that I'm certainly town, as seen in the post above.I will not assume everyone with blue eyes has Mako poisoning

Given the current vote count, I willunvote, vote Twomz, as he is one of the few players I do not mind killing today."It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill with rope and a slim majority."

In my experience, scum are unlikely to lie in a way that will be obviously outed, and tend not to draw attention to themselves in deliberate, spectacular ways. (Not to mention if Fritzler is telling the truth (which will be demonstrated soon), it's unlikely that MrBuddyLee would have changed alignments anyway.) I just don't see such a big gambit happening from MBLscum, even if it would have produced good results for MBLscum.MrBuddyLee wrote:

I think that MBL's only bad play regarding the dayvig was not letting Gorrad claim. However, since it was fake, it was actually a pretty good idea. Faking your role can most definitely be a good play sometimes, even as town.
Maybe you won't consider us 'confirmed innocents' until one of us dies, but why would scum out another scum in the way Gorrad did?jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont
