Something I noticed going back.. Xyl was very amiable to Mills in siding against DS. Think there might have been some exploitation of the DS/Mills feud there.

I think the aforementioned "false negative" approach was being used alright.. on Mills/DS. From Xyl's perspective, it would be easy to get one to vote against the other, and lynching either one or both would be a success for Xyl.

If egruntz FOSed Mills without any explanation, it would certainly fit within what I

think

Xyl was trying to accomplish day 1. While that doesn't mean Egruntz is necessarily scummy, it doesn't help his case at all in my eyes.

So I noticed something. Xyl and egruntz were listed in different colors when dead. Now, Elias could have done this for no good reason, or Xyl and egruntz could have been on different scum teams.

With three deaths on the first night, it's likely there's more than one scum group. Only one death last night, but that doesn't mean anything... especially now that we know there's a doc in the setup.

Also, xyzzy - did you really think that you were going to get anything useful out of egruntz at that point?

I don't like this post. Sounds like xyzzy was thinking about what to say during the entire night phase. Based on what I know about the way he plays, I find it hard to believe that xyzzy was watching this game so closely, unless he was egruntz's scumbuddy.

Interesting point.

As you say, the triple NKs on N1 make it extremely likely we have more than one scum group (or SK). It would really surprise me if Xyl and Egruntz were different scum groups because their behaviour to each other stunk dreadfully of distancing.

Day 2 was shortened by Egruntz claim of mafia. Not as much discussion, but in my opinion a fair trade off.

I investigated Xyzzy, who had the misfortune of replacing Dragon princess, someone who only posted a couple of times, mostly in defense of Egruntz, before she was replaced.

What was Xyzzy's voting like on day one and two?

Everyone knows that the best way for mafia to avoid making a mistake and giving themselves away is to avoid posting.
Xyzzy is doing just that. He has posted a grand total of 8 times in the entire game. On top of that his posts have not added very much to the discussion. Looks like mafia lurking to me.
