@batt. In a hurry? Yes. For night? No. I think the purpose of day is so that we can discuss, and then weed out scum. As I see it though, we've discussed all we can. It's time to move on and lynch the person we think scummiest. I'm in a hurry for the next day, where we find out if the person really was scum, and we can make guesses on everyone else based on whether they voted for that person or not.

I'm afraid that PWIRL's scuminess has been too much for alvinz to overcome, and I'm ready to lynch him today. I'm still not thrilled by Rosso's single mindedness regarding this lynch, but it is the best one we have.

dont understand how you can attack me BECAUSE i attack a scummy person.

I just reread the last few days worth of posts and this one stuck out at me.

I distinguish between two broad types of attacks:

Fist there are attacks that pressure somebody to defend themselves, possibly revealing hints to their alignment, but which don't aim for a lynch immediately. I don't think these kinds of attacks are ever harmful to the town.

Entirely different are attacks focused on lynching somebody ASAP. This is ok if the relevant questions have already been asked and answered (and if nobody voted with the intention of lynching days would never end). But early on, especially early on day 1, I don't think attacking this way is appropriate, because less discussion means the town will have less opportunity to catch scum. If anyone had followed Rosso's lead and hammered PWIRL on page one, half the players would have gone through day one with only (semi-)random votes.

I do recognize that it is not always clear when somebody places a vote whether it is a pressure vote, or if they really want that lynch to happen. It may not be unreasonable to bluff, and cast a pressure vote while implying you are more serious.

My criticism of Rosso's early L-1 vote on PWIRL is because his attack is definitely in the second category. His posts (both at the time and since) clearly suggest that he wants to lynch PWIRL (now alvinz95) as soon as possible.

I've made a number of points in my previous posts, and to be honest I don't have anything new to add at this point. I will be paying attention to see if any new issues are raised, but don't hold off hammering to hear from me (unless you have a specific question).

That's for you to decide, I have switched to alvin. That way the results, if scum, makes it more likely rosso is townie and vice versa. If we killed rosso, that does not impact whether alvin is scum or townie based on the results.

Since no evidence on anyone else has been gathered too much, I think alvin is the best choice. From that we have to gather information from the results for tomorrow.

Hi, i'm back, sorry for the long no post.

I have a new suspect now, but since we're already close to a lynch, and we already have two suspects, I'm going to wait and see how night one turns out before I post my suspicions.

I still think Rosso is the scummiest right now, but for the sake of a lynch, I am going to transfer my vote over to Alvin in 6 hours if he doesn't make a post by then.

You wake up to find that Blck Knght has been killed, you check his house and find it plain, meaning he was a Townie.

All night actions in, so day 2 begins, with 5 alive it is 3 to lynch.

Ok. We need a cop claim. Here is how we should take this game further.

1) Cop claims, and he claims his investigation result. This gives us 2 confirmed townies (out of 5).

2) We proceed to lynch any one of the 3 other people. We lynch that person.

If the person we are lynching is the doctor, then he should claim at that point

.

2.1) We don't bandwagon the doctor before his claim and lynch a non doctor. We have thus 2 unconfirmed townies left in 4. On night 2, the doctor should protect the cop and the cop should investigate one of the two unconfirmed townies.

2.2) We bandwagon the doctor before his claim. He claims. We unvote and lynch someone else. At the same time, as long as the claim goes unopposed, we have 3 confirmed townies (out of 5). After lynching someone, we get 3 confirmed townies out of 4; which is a victory (the cop should, just to be sure investigate the unconfirmed townie and the doc should protect the cop at night)

2.3) We bandwagon the doctor and he claims. However, some twit decides to not believe the doctor claim and hammers the doctor. The doctor comes up doctor. We lynch the person who hammered the claimed doctor.

3) At any point, if we have 2 claims for the same role, one of them HAS to be scum.

If we do that plan Sir Tornado, the cop has to rely on the doc being active at night. If the doc isn't then bye bye cop.

Oh, and don't put someone at L-1 by having 2 people place a vote on them. If you want to place a second vote do an unofficial vote at the end of your post unbolded. That way they have a chance to defend themselves before someone decides to hammer.
