i dont really have much to add....seems we cant get too far without these replcaements. the mods comment about jesters 2 vc's ago makes me a lil cringey (not sure if thats a word) about the whole if sf is faking pr thingo. i still dont think he is scum to fake a pr like that. but if he was jester then possibly....however would there be a jester in this game is all.
apart from that i have nothing to add

Hi people, hi Xyl, hi CESc, hi Elias, hi all the rest of you wonderful people who I'm sure will make excellent companions on this journey of deception and intrigue.

Now, if you'll excuse my somewhat whimsical opening, I will deign to give you my thoughts on the game.

The Sensfan wagon is a red herring. There's very little point in lynching him today. If he's scum, the PR and the cop claim combined create a dangerous minefield for him in days to come. I can think of at least 3 things that could happen which would blow him out of the water, and other things which will make his life considerably more difficult in days to come. Xyl's situation of him being continually left to skate by simply won't happen. And, if he's town, getting a few investigations is a good thing.

Besides, it's unhealthy to have all the discussion centred around one issue. I am suspicious of Joubert. He's not exactly bandwagoning (the latest votecount showing him voting for Sensfan is wrong) but he is much more guilty than SensFan of the discuss game theory and don't really attack anyone tell. I also feel that this posts are designed to give maximum flexibility in his attacks. And his suggestion for another cop to inestigate sens is just bad, though I'm inclined to put that down to bad game theory rather than malicious intent.

It seems to me that Lovo is the most scummy. I'm sure we all remember the vote cast against CESc, the first changed vote after the Sensfan. Lovo was too quick to get out of voting Sensfan and bandwagoning on anybody else. IMO, Lovo is somehow tied to Sensfan. If Sensfan is Scum, Lovo would then also be Scum. But we don't know if Sens is, the problem of several pages of posts. Therefore I propose a lynch on Lovo to prove the alignment of Sens.

Elias also seems somewhat Scummy in his held vote, but he hasn't shown himself to be anti-town yet, so I won't point at him yet.

Vote: Lovo

Hi all, I'm here to replace for woelrat. Looking forward to play with you. :)

First of all, the whole SensFan thing is just weird and distracting. Also, SensFan, shouldn't you be able to communicate better than that if you quote better? Or do more effective things with mimes? This PR seems pretty breakable... Want us to get a couple of good phrases down for you to quote?

Examples:

Yes, that would work.

I'm not allowed to do that.

This (the above quote or, if any parts are
formatted like this
, those parts) is scummy.
(Formatting above can be replaced with whatever works in the relevant post.)

This (the above quote or, if any parts are
formatted like this
, those parts) is true.

This (the above quote or, if any parts are
formatted like this
, those parts) is false.

The
formatted
part of the above quote(s) is a contradiction.

Can you explain this?

I'm satisfied with your explanation.

End examples.
If you can do this, there's nothing keeping us from copy-pasting a dictionary or something. :?

This is a normal game, so post restriction seems unlikely but not entirely unreasonable. The fact that there's a rule about something that would apply to it makes it somewhat more believable, though... And hey, if he's a cop, let the scum spend a kill on him. We can get information from him for a day or two, and after that, if he's not doing much good, we can just lynch him. I don't want anyone counterclaiming though (if this is a normal game weird enough to have post restrictions, I wouldn't be all that surprised to see another cop or something to that effect.) Also, taking into consideration the mod's comment on Jesters, I wouldn't be all too surprised to see SensFan as one of those either... Jesters with post restrictions are far from unheard of. :? (Again, I'd rather see the scum kill a jester. After all, they wouldn't be able to win after a jester wins either, only come second at best. :))

My biggest problem with this game is that really all the focus has been on SensFan, and so he's pretty much the only one eligible for a lynch. Well, I don't like that, I want options, so I suggest we put some pressure on some people and see if we get anything interesting, and decide who to lynch after that. Hopefully the other two replacements and I will be able to shake things up a little. :) I think lovo14 seems like a good enough place to start applying pressure, him being (among) the most lurkerish people who hasn't been replaced.
VOTE: lovo14

Lovo, please post your thoughts on the game and who you think would make a good lynch.

I note that Joubert hasn't posted in a week. I'd be interested in hearing from him too, as soon as he gets back. Only got one vote though. :)
Prod, please.

And it's a veritable flurry of prods! Will Joubert's return be his high point, or will he betray his fellow townies? Stay tuned for the next epsidoe of Votecount

Oh, and my apologies to lovo. I kept misreading the l as a j. My computer's font makes them look pretty similar.

Sensfan(5)--Xylthixlm, jerubbaal, Joubert, Cogito Ergo Scum, Elias_The_Thief
Xylthixlm(1)-- Ting
Elias_The_Thief(1)--Sensfan
lovo14(2)--Imat, Cavebear with a Toothache
Joubert(1)--Shanba

With 12 alive, it will be 7 to lynch!

Your PR will be debated and discussed and will monopolize the thread. Considering that its more than likely youre faking, and also that your lynch will cause good discussion about what people thought about it, id like to get rid of that useless discussion.

Yay, replacements!

I must say I quite agree with what Shanba says, in the sense that, would SF be mafia, he'd likely be a goon/gf (which is the trend in mini normals) and that means it isn't very harmful if we keep him alive. I once before played a game where we kept a known mafia goon alive on purpose, and that turned out to be quite a good play. If SF keeps contributing, and he seems to be doing that quite a lot better lately, I guess I'm okay with keeping him alive. Still think he's scum, though.

Replacements, good.

@SensFan: could you answer why you unvoted and voted for Elias now three times in a row, when you already had your vote on him? Another: I agree with Cavebear, quoting his post would make contribution easier on you.

About keeping SF alive, I agree with you, Shanba. Nothing to add, you wrote it all pretty much down.

Why would you want to keep him alive if you think hes scum.
1) the idea is to catch scum, and if we KNOW hes scum it gives as more info about who else is scum
2) it delays LYLO if we kill him now

Whatever situation in which you kept a goon alive before, I doubt it was like this.

For the last time, here's what I thought had happened:
I thought Sensfan wanted a vote to be placed on the cop. Now, if he was cop, this would have confirmed him as cop, which would have been good for him. If he was not cop, this would have shown the mafia and the town who the cop was, which would have been good for him. Essentially, I thought he was trying to get me to mod-confirm who the cop was.

This is all assuming there is a cop--I can't confirm or deny the existence of any roles within this game
