that is very true.. on the pther hand either Nab-Nab is scared of my scum hunting abilities despite having played in several games with me where I failed as a scum-hunting townie, or he thinks there is a very real chance that I am scum trying to buddy up to him... which makes him pretty much confirmed to me, and a great nk target, so we should get all of the analysis out of him that we can today.

Well, he's playing like he always plays, or at least every time I've seen him play, can't fault him for that. But his play does not do much in line of giving us much information. I find most of his posts can be boiled down to random vendettas against a person he thinks may or may not be scum. Don't really know what to make of him. If I absolutely had to label him one way or the other, I would go with town just on the fact I see nothing incredibly scummy, therefore is town.

I don't like the red-team, blue-team dynamic that's building in regards to kab and vollkan. It's giving the town tunnel-vision.

It bothers me a lot that Guardian is all pro-daytalk-and-tell and yet only tells us who he spoke to...not any of the info he gained from the conversation...only the outcome. He just expects us to understand his opinion after a chat with kab. It comes off as slightly hypocritical.

I feel at this point that a volkan lynch is an easy way out, and a terrible one. In fact, it feels like that people want volkan dead because he's an easy target...and I can't imagine that anyone who bothered to read the entire conversation between him and JD could feel that he was trying to talk circles in order to appear less scummy.

Volkan has answered everything quite beautifully, and the continued wagon/attention on him is nothing but a smoke screen, if you ask me.

@Xtoxm: I'd like to add my voice to NabNab's and say I, too, would like to see a bit more of your own feelings about the happenings in the game. Primate didn't really contribute much except to mention that nobody has talked to him.

Hm. I'm unsure, honestly. Before you ask: revealing why specifically I wouldn't want to reveal the reasons would be as good as revealing them.

My genreal reason is that revealing all daytalk as it happens basically gives away any advantage town might have in this game.

Mizzy, explain how I am being hypocritical. I think who is talking to who should be of record so if someone dies, the people they talked to could be asked to reveal what the conversation was about. Also, I wouldn't want someone I never PM'd to claim to have had extensive PMs with me if I died.

That doesn't mean we should reveal the contents of the talk as they happen.

I really need to get to re-reading this game; I agree with Nabby that tunnel vision is a problem; there is no need to be vollkan OR kab at this point, a slip I guess I fell into.

Saying who you are talking to and when is fine, but I really dislike that you aren't giving any reasonings here in your posts about why you feel the way you do beyond, "I spoke to him and formed an opinion." If you're going to advocate that the bulk of our exchange is inside the thread, then I hope to see you setting an example.

I'm not saying you post a log of what was said, but I expect to see some logic and reasoning behind your votes and expressed opinions within this thread. I expect the same of everyone.

I really understand/have sympathy with kabemnon's view of the game. I don't like the lynch -2 wagon on him at this point at all, and while not sure I agree, I can definitely see what he is seeing, about vollkan, Mizzy, and now Jdodge.

The reasoning of yours here seems to be:
1) JDodge makes error about my post
2) That shows JDodge is not reading the thread properly
3) Only scum don't read
4) JDodge is scum + JDodge is just trying to attack me for anything

- Ask yourself if it is conceivable as a reasonable mistake. Unless JDodge actually had the context in mind as he was reading (unlikely, since he had already posted since the context-building posts were made) then it is quite feasible that he might think it was about me, rather than himself. Now, one mistake on this account does not prove JDodge is not reading the thread properly. It proves he is human.

I've considered the possibility of mizzy being scum buddying to me, but I see nothing actually scummy about her play thus far, so I've got that in the "Conspiracies" file for the time being.

Moreover, I don't even think her play really looks like buddying. Her early skepticism of the case against me stemmed from the fact that we had already discussed my attitude towards traps. She knew from the outset what my position was. Then we had her criticising Kab's attacks.

Quick question about this, I want to make sure I'm answering what you want me to answer: do you want me to prove that scum don't read threads, or do you want me to examine the possibilities of other people not reading threads?
