@ farside, in this post :
http://mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 815#925815
you voice a short a analysis of a number of players.
These players are:
Sarcastro(town), BM(unknown), Talitha(town), Alko(town), MeMe(unknown), CKD(unknown), Wolfcrier (town), Holy(unknown), and Pooky(unknown).
Players that you have omitted from your analysis: WHY???
RossWilliam
PJ
hasdgfas
MoS
Karma
If you turn out scum, I would bet that at least one of BM, MeMe, and CKD is your buddy. I'm not putting Pooky on the list for unrelated reasons. I cannot give them an actual score number for this increased suspicion, because it's different from the other system.
@hasdgfas- Since I think you are scum, I'll wait until a player that is more likely to be a townie asks me. I am sorry, but I am going to have to ignore your questions if I think my answers might give scum some hints.Beep! Beep!-

Just because you put yourself as town doesn't mean you are town. You can't say I was harsh on wolfcrier and then when JDGA disappeared it was hard to get any read on that either. Just because you come in late shouldn't wipe the slate clean.Beep! Beep! wrote:@ farside, in this post :

I didn't realize that hasdgfas had a post restriction. Could he be faking it?
@farside
It is interesting that you find all the players on my list to be either neutral or pro-town. Not a single one even slightly scummy.
When I make my analysis, I try to find scum. I know my own alignment and make use of that information. If I don't, I will be less effective. The rest of you are free to make your own analyses, peg me as 'unknown alignment' and yourself as whatever alignment you know yourself to be, and draw your own conlusions.Beep! Beep!-

damnit i want to vote Farside SO much, but he seems so earnest...
and he has a good point about Monkey.
But it makes so much game-sense to lynch him, especially as it will give us a strong indication of Beep Beeps alignment.

I find it unlikely that all 3 killing groups (even allowing for one to be a vig, who wouldn't have killed you) would avoid killing you after your doc claim.farside22 wrote:@Beep Beep:

Can't say I don't blame anyone with that point, but I see it from another point of view. Monkey is lynched and show as doctor now scum can lynch someone else and lynch me tomorrow stating the very thing you are stating now. It really is WIFOM, but I'm just not as sure any more of who scum is and what about the Jester. I really thought it was Sacrastro. So now with the number dwindled all I can do is reread one more time and see if I can get a list before I'm lynched.Mastermind of Sin wrote:

I still believe farside. I can see 2 docs in a game with three kills at night. It's certainly not common, but possible.
While Beep Beep doesn't have to reveal the inner workings of his scum score, he should at least give us general things that influences them heavily. I can tell you that viewing posts in isolation affects my scumdar readings more than interactions between players."Rolefishing is fishing for someones role. It's called fishing because it requires subtlety. When you grab a shotgun and start firing into the water, thats not fishing." - IH-

I'm really trying to work that out in my memory, Pooky was always coming up with crazy plans which MoS was quick to argue against, but these hapless dupes felt more like huggle alliance ish than the manner he carried those out. In the particular game I was thinking of I remember him being laid back until a few key players were taken out, and then suddenly he was actively directing laying out a plan for a town win.Iammars wrote:But did he come up with a detailed plan for the win, or did he just generally lead the town?
Question: Meme, can't remember the page ref. but earlier in the game in the discussion of alts you mentioned you thought I was the least likely to use one, any particular reason for that judgement?
Given that there were three night kills, would it matter whether farside22 was scum or doctor to the other killing groups when considering their incentive to kill her?PJ wrote:This game just got very depressing very quickly. And this is a good thing why?RossWilliam wrote:at least sarcastro's dead!
Hasdgfas since you haven't mentioned, did you have enough [word] yesterday to make some difference last night?
Farside22, out of curiousity, who did you target last night and for what reason?
Are you saying that it's easier to thing specific posts scummy if not in context and that that plays into beep beep's readings?Iammars wrote:I can tell you that viewing posts in isolation affects my scumdar readings more than interactions between players. When I hear any man talk of an unalterable law, the only effect it produces upon me is to convince me that he is an unalterable fool.-

I have no clue what effects Beep Beep's readings. I just gave an example as to what affects my readings.
Yes. Obviously I read posts later after I mark them as scummy to make sure I'm not completely misinterpreting the post, but yes, you're right on the first half of your statement."Rolefishing is fishing for someones role. Nother quick question: hasdgfas-- I was looking at your suspicions list from when you broke you restriction-- your other two top suspectsish are dead--- anyone dif on your list now, if so who? When I hear any man talk of an unalterable law, the only effect it produces upon me is to convince me that he is an unalterable fool.-

My post was a response to this one...Ameliaslay wrote:Question: Meme, can't remember the page ref. but earlier in the game in the discussion of alts you mentioned you thought I was the least likely to use one, any particular reason for that judgement?
And here it is, in its entirety...Battle Mage wrote:@MeMe- are you sure some of those on the 'NOT' list are not alts of people who were there?
So, I was considering a very small pool of players of whom you were the only one I didn't know for certain wasn't playing the game (Atticus and Dirge live in my house...mlaker and spork76 are family friends...Thesp's the mod...kristocker's too busy). As I said, I couldn't see you bothering to hide behind an alt, especially in a game in which your presence AS Ameliaslay would be desired.MeMe wrote:Not completely sure, but the only other scummers NOT on my list who were there (as far as memory and the group pic serves) are:
Ameliaslay
Atticus
Dirge
kristocker
mlaker

Thesp
The only one of those players I'm not 100% certain isn't using an alt in this game is Ameliaslay -- and I can't see her bothering.Remember...It's not a lie if you believe it. -- G. Costanza-

why mars, has? and beep/wolfcrier has fallen off
Not to be nitpicky, but if the two are unrelated-- Beep Beep's reasons, and an example of your own-- why connect them-- why make that statement?iammars wrote:I have no clue what effects Beep Beep's readings.
