Vote: DS, Unvote: DS

Yeah, I'd say that would be somewhat unsportsmanlike, because I don't think the mod would want to come out and say that you, in fact, can't vote.
Holy crap, I forgot this site existed.

However, one thing I have to say is: why would I come out and say that I can't vote. If I was pressured to vote later on then maybe I'd say that, but that wasn't the case.
I think I actually addressed this point in the original post. The argument was that if you
are
evil, it'd be much more devastating if we discovered that you couldn't vote rather than you just telling us.

All right. I fail to see why I am suspicious, but here we go...

By the way, Loose cannon, if you take a look at this page, you will see that the vast majority of posts (if not all), are only one or two lines long. Including yours...

And I'm not going to force myself to write when I have nothing to say. Oh look, four lines. Bah.

I'm still confused about the vote, unvote thing. What's it proving?

Tim the Enchanter is very likely to be in the game. I'd also think he is good, so for me this clears Leonidas unless someone contradicts his claim. But why claim this early when you only have 2 votes?

I don't think the vote/unvote thing will amount to much, but there is a chance mathcam's theory is correct and then it gets us scum.

I'll make a
vote:Polotet
for now. He has is on the list of nonvoters and has only posted once this whole game and that to make a random vote.

It's quite possible (probable?) that the vote/unvote thing won't amount to much, but it certainly doesn't hurt us, and might catch us both remaining heads (i.e. Dragon Slayer and someone else if they're the only two people unable to vote).

Leonidas, the difference between you and me is that I have posted long posts in this game. In the early discussions, I posted several times in rather large chunks. What I see from you is a "I'm here but I'm not going to say anything important so I don't draw attention to myself" routine. In all of your posts, you have posted almost no content. Even when you roleclaim you post next to nothing. Are you perhaps a votehappy Frenchman, Giant or other scum who can't even make up a decent ability for Tim? I really have to wonder when I see a roleclaim, with only two votes on you, with
no
actual content or description of what you do. The only other reference to your roleclaim is a post in which you state that you "have reasons" to roleclaim.
Vote stands on Leonidas

What's the deal with Polotet? He's been replaced in several games already, hasn't he? Jadesmar's still around, and bane221 was until recently very active...

Loose Cannon? You're voting to stand on Leonidas? :)

Yeah, Polotet's been quite inactive lately. He's stuck with school work and regular work. I've hardly gotten a chance to talk to him online anymore or at all....and we're related...
Ever wonder why that edit button is obnoxiously placed in the center like that? Yeah, that's cause of me.. and trust me, it's better off there.

So you think he should be replaced?

And I'm sure Leonidas has his reasons.

Unvote: Leonidas

Not sure if its cos he's scum and wants to proactively claim, or he has some kind of ability which would not work revealed. Either way, I can't imagine getting anything out of him for now.

vote: loose cannon

- joins a stupid bandwagon (slightly scummy, but not so bad, so I just FOSsed him),
- keeps voting me after I claim a pro-town role which is bound to be in the game... so here's my vote.

vote:Loose Cannon

Keeping you vote on Leonidas is really strange. In a themed game its not necessary to reveal your abilities to the mafia when you roleclaim with a name. Let them decide whether Tim is basic townie or has a powerful role. This is especially true when its a name thats almost certain to be in the game. Tim is one of only several characters that appear in more than 1 scene.

I think... Loose Cannon is scum. I acted like that when I was scum in some of my past games, he's acting like that now. Like that meaning:

1. Bandwagoning somebody (grr... Someone and his name!)
2. Continuing to bandwagon despite plausible roleclaim. I think I'll term it mafia momentum.

OTOH, its also possible that I would have acted like that when I wasn't scum, i.e. unable to cope with changing my position on someone.. somebody

Now that I've outlined my reason for voting him, I will now
Vote: Loose Cannon
. He's a loose cannon! or scum.

Unvote: Loose Cannon, FOS Loose Cannon, FOS Leonidas

Leonidas attacks Loose Cannon for voting him, attacked a lot of people who voted him. That seems scummy too. Tim didn't seem like too important a character.

You FOS me for what, exactly, wacky ?

I've claimed my role. Period.

And I find your vote/unvote loose cannon interesting - especially considering the fact that you're actually taking his side... -

Perhaps Tim can be recruited by a knight group of some sort. Assuming that the knights are not all individual roles (doc, cop, etc.) The only thing Tim does in the film besides escort the knights to the cave where the Rabbit lives is sort of randomly blow things up. And nobody's been blown up yet...
It's better to be lucky than skilled, surely. However, it's a lot easier to be skilled twice than lucky twice.
