Ah. It's been a feature here for a few years; since I came back, certainly.

Ok, here goes nothing. This post I'll roll dice, next I'll translate them. I'm just going to generate an ordered list of all players left in the game; I know some are claimed, but this is nice and unambiguous. Method: pull the Nth person from the current slate of players and remove that player from the slate; starting order is the order in the first post. I'll leave in the last die roll for silly completeness.

So here are our numbers:

d7 = 685041231
d6 = 1260239291
d5 = 1545869770
d4 = 618301139
d3 = 107630269
d2 = 1105318798
d1 = 64594874

So for those too lazy to do their own homework, our claim order is:

7. Yamahako
3. TheHermit (repl. YosiP (repl. Bamboomancer))
4. BattleMage
2. mneme (repl. Sir Tornado (repl. pulsewidth))
5. Korlash (repl. VitaminR)
1. Holy(repl. JordanA24)
6. Gorgon (repl. pickemgenius)

(numbers at the beginning represent the starting order, as per the top post).

I claimed before - but here it is again

I am Karina A. Carpenteria, an anorexic. I am with the students.

My lunchbox contains 100 peas, 2 saltines, and a cup of hot coffe.
I'm suspicious - in every sense of the word.

are saltines and peas something an anorexic would eat?
i suppose they are small, so it kind of fits flavour wise. Im guessing the peas do nothing in order to balance with the scolding hot coffee.

wait, wasnt 1 of last nights NK's a result of 'scolding'?
The link is tenuous, as past kills have been 'simmering' and ive never seen someone describe a cup of coffee like that before! lol

I think the claim is very believable.

Is The Hermit even here to make a claim?

Okay, a role claim.
Facile
.

I am Manon St. Honore, the French exchange student. All I've got in my lunchbox is a croissant, a tartine au Nutella, and a drink: apricot nectar. I have to speak French at least once in every post. And I'm on the students' side.

Ok, a few questions for you:

1. Did you start the game with this PR, or did you acquire it later? (you may have to check with the mod, in which case, im happy to wait for you to do so)
2. What happens if you break your PR?
3. do you really have nothing else to say about the game? :o

I'll review the remainder of your claim when i get back home.
At that time, i'll also make my claim, as im next in line, and it wont affect Hermit's anyway.

I take it your somewhat short on time or something but I just don't get why your waiting to claim if it has no affect on Hermit's... Just seems the sooner you claim the sooner mneme can, I can, everyone can.. etc...

Jsut thought I'd through that out there...

I wasnt as much short on time as short on patience. Running dial up is a nightmare, and when ur paying by the minute, some things can wait.

Also, i wanted to check out Hermits claim first, so we do things in order and scrutinise each claim so we dont miss stuff.

Claim and research pending.

Ok reading through, Hermits claim seems to add up apart from the following post:

Other than that, his claim is wholly believable.

Me next. I'm Gertrude Pullitzer, the school librarian. I have 3 BB notes.
In my lunchbox i have some knackwursts, a bowl of sauerkraut, and a few prunes.

^nice catch there BM. Today I reached page 30, slow progress...I know. While reading, I noticed that our dead Scum, foolinc/Blackberry who (fake)claimed as Mexican Student, several times forgot including his Spanish PR in his posts, such as post #655 (pg 27) and #747 (pg 30).
O yeah, I'm going to finish my read today 'till there, there's something interesting too on pg 30, following post #747, you'll see Sir Tornado's (mneme) posts, in there he said "I love noodles", I don't think noodles is a Japanese word though, is that count?

Noodles = Ramen; Soba; etc.

Also Holy, if you could answer my earlier questions about anorexics, thatd be good :)

I'm just the janitor. No confirming, no denying.
Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds, fabricating a good fakeclaim takes an eternity.

My turn. Watashi wa Akira Hiroshige, exchange student from Tokyo.

I'm aligned with the students (town). (I believe the "alignment" question was omitted from Tornado's initial PM, though I received it when I replaced in -- this curious "lack of alignment" was stated in the thread and IIRC confirmed by other townies and, effectively, by the mod).

Post Restriction: One japanese word per post. (also, though I haven't either broken or paid attention to it, I can only throw Japanese food; I only noticed this as a post restriction on the re-read). There's no listed punishment associated with the post restriction.

Lunch box contains: 6 sushi rolls, 1 spoonful of wasabi, one cup of tea. (the adjetives I've added to sushi rolls were flavor, but allowed because the throw still included "sushi roll").

No powers, no alergies.

=====================================

Re the post restriction thing...wow, Sir Tornado's japanese was awful, wasn't it?

To a degree, well, he didn't get away with it -- he was replaced! But I think a lot of this is that it's a "flavor" restriction, so while it's encouraged, it's not strictly enforced; accidents aren't punished mechanically, so the occasional lapse simply isn't a problem.

Hm, I don't think an anorexic would like to eat anything at all. But, saltines definitely isn't a choice, because it contain carbs. An anorexic might be eat peas, some, not a portion of it. Although in here, it's not eaten but thrown. I don't have any idea of what an anorexic would be expected to eat, actually. Maybe just liquid? :?
