Good game everybody! The fact that the town had to resort to letting the mafia cross-kill each other is somewhat shameful, but, well.... means to an end. Glad we won.
Especially commendable to you, ooba. You seemed to be very useful in this game, and you correctly guessed most of my investigations. The only one you got wrong was the last one, as Stoof took away my ability when I asked everybody to state their alligiences.
I'm a bit surprised that The Fonz was scum, but not surprised that CES is scum in the least."It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill with rope and a slim majority."

That was one of the most fun games I've everbeen inread. *glares at Gorrad*
In all seriousness, I understand what happened, Gorrad. I wouldn't have known what to do in your situation as Mason unless I had read a few games with Masons before playing in this one. It's also partially my fault for not telling you the best claiming method in my first(and pretty much only) PM to you. If we had had more time to talk before Day started, we could've gotten to that. No worries though, it worked out all right in the end.
I also thought that the mislynch of UA was really, really stupid. It was pretty obvious to me that from his play, he was actually what he claimed. His reluctance to claim his second ability was what did him in though. There wasn't really much reason to not claim it at that point.
Also at some point during one of the last couple days, I saw stoofer on AIM and decided to tell him my predictions. If I remember correctly, they were Primate&Lawrencelot Ninjas and CES goblin (with Fonz as third if there were three, which I didn't think at the time). So, I was somewhat close, but had one person swapped, and cicero had me fooled. That might have been simply because I didn't read posts as closely as if I had been alive.
Those are my thoughts now. If I think of anything else, I'll definitely mention it.jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont

I lol'd when MBL killed Thok. I was trying to tell my teammates to kill him, I'd picked up that he was the goblin protector.
Good job town.
cicero and Fonz, sorry I cocked this game up. I'd love to give another try with you as partners sometime.Do not lynch me.

Well, yes. But to my mind, the only way a joint win was possible was if we had equal kills remaining on one another, or at least, didn't know that we didn't. Otherwise, whoever has immunity left wins.
Announcing that I had no immunity was akin to giving up on any chance of winning. I'd have had the choice of killing town, and handing Primate the game, or targetting primate and handing him the town the game. I wouldn't have made a binding promise not to kill at all (as I did with not mentioning it), because he would know that he could then target a townie and still have more immunity left than me, at which point he'd win.
So you'd say, why didn't you admit that you had no immunity left, and that I'd be targetting primate? Well, he has no reason to trust me if I say I'm targetting him that night and have no immunity. Like i said, if i'm lying, he's cost his side the game. To my mind, if we were going to deal, we couldn't do it from a position of one of us having more immunity than the other, that was never going to work.-

Thanks Thok ^_^. I was intentionally stalling that claim since it would be very harmfull if true, and would run into a lynch in a very short time schedule. Too bad the other scumgroups would immediatly want to kill me. The game was too short for me to actually enjoy it.Thok wrote:I'd argue that K-Scope was the only scum who claimed well, even given the claim situation. For example, I would have been against the Erg0 wagon until he claimed at which point I'd have considered his role claim a scum claim.-

I am foaming at the mouth with anger. Rogueben, KaleiÐoscøpe, Skruffs. Mmmm... your murderous ways are duly noted.Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds, fabricating a good fakeclaim takes an eternity.

Good game all. I kinda lost it at the endgame, but still I survived and made the right decision. Good job Ooba too. Mr. Stoofer, thanks for modding, the setup was nice and balanced.
I was mainly wrong about The Fonz, and maybe cicero, the other players were more or less of the alignment I thought they were. Hope to play with you guys again.Leaving mafiascum temporarily or not due to circumstances-

First of all, <3 Stoofer. I've never been in one of your games, but I plan on changing that trend from now on, I think.
I have for some time now complained that I am cursed with either scum roles or vanilla townie roles(or close to vanilla). There was a 1 in 26 chance I got that one vanilla role. I think we call can agree that I am, in fact, fucking cursed.

I had myself pegged as paranoid from the pre-game. I still crumbed my results, though.
This game completely flew over my head. Lots of people, and lots of active people, too much going on at the same time. The timing was also kinda bad, since I had a few trips in feb that kept me away from the computer. I was completely wrong about the few guesses I made about the game.
That said, I had a lot of fun reading it, specially the day-night scenes.
I don't quite get the pirates NK'ing me though. I wasn't the most helpful of the townies, and I don't think I was that scummy either. And even though I did partial claim, I think I had left a pretty clear crumb of my role earlier ("This game is making me paranoid" or something like that). It seems I would be more useful to the scum alive than dead.
See you next game.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVVmAG0RXmo-

Yeah! I was defending Thok since the beginning, I cast the first vote on Guardian on D2, and I kept telling everybody there was more than one goblin.Kison wrote:MBF - you get anything interesting with your Lie Detecting?"It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill with rope and a slim majority."
