Kinda annoying...

Anyway... I don't really have anything new to add...

I'll respond to questions, but other than that... already covered it, imo.

The only people to beniefit from this agument will be scum as it would let them pass through the radar untill d2.

-rustys attack on startransmission, I don't really get good or bad vibes from this really, I understand the whole lurkers don't always = scum, but I am unsure why he thinks she is a very town player. even if she does turn out to be town, I still don't think that her lack of activity is a very town move.

read through, first 2 pages are just RVS, and whats with (in page 3 i think) active = scum? i mean, it should be the other way round shouldnt it? People could just be over eger...

Quick read finished, getting slight scum read from Crunchi from the lurking, other than that not much at all.

Btw im Ash (i get a bit annoyed when people call me david. thats whay i put it in my sig that my name is not david). Played one game before in newbie 812. I was town, first person to die and to make it worse the person who was suspected more than me was lynched D3, next day was endgame. So nice to see you all and have a great game

ok lurking or over activeness are null tell to me in newbie games. Unless that it is that the player in question is not a newb and has some type of meta one way or the other.

I've only played as scum once, and I accidently dropped the hammer on somebody I thought I was putting at L-1. So I kinda shot myself in the foot. I almost got away with it, but an IC from and earlier games got replaced in and got me on a meta. Thankfully my partner bussed me at the right time and won the game for scum. So I don't have a real comparison, as all my games otherwise have been as town. I like being town, I love to scumhunt, breaking down posts and looking for inconsistencies etc. I like the whodunnit aspect, wondering who could be scum. Whereas the one time I was scum, I was kinda stressed with being decently active and townish and not getting caught. And not wanting to mess things up for your partner (which I did) was a lot of pressure as well.

I agree, but as we have a bunch of newcomers it might take a bit to find a new direction of conversation. I look forward to the responses to MMEs questions, especially from Ash. In the meantime I'll keep my vote where it is, until (if and when) Crunchi is replaced.

I prefer playing town becuase its more fun finding out who is scum and scum hunting, all of that stuff. Didnt get to do it much in my last game though

The only reason somebody would be worried that the person is active and thus not suspicious enough would be if they are scum (imo). Scum want to pick off townies without drawing suspicion, and hashing it out with an active player is riskier than sniping lurkers.

I wish I knew what to do this early in the game... I guess I'll just play it like the games I've replaced into.

at the top, page 4, though that may be the case maybe they are just randomly trying to get a scum to slip up some where. And many more possabilities. But at this stage of the game its too hard to tell.

meh i just like to play: scum, town ,third party (wich we DO NOT have to worry about in this game) is all the same to me. except well third party cause then its like a solo win.

They are null tells but it doesn't hurt to try and pressure lurkers into activity. It failed apparently.

i see your point it depends on how you add pressure. If you vote for pressure, you have to pay attention to aviod the quick lynch.
