Bah. I purposefully wanted to be bussed, and it didn't work. <_<

He mentioned that, yeah. The thing about bussing is that you only get credit when the lynch is still up in the air. You might as well have selfhammered.

You did reinforce my belief that two boosts was the maximum, so good job there.

Actually...

-I knew about my meta. That there wasn't a chance on earth I'd live for more than a few days with my playstyle, yet alone, get a boost. (I was too...hmm...best word I can think about is "stupid". I was too stupid to really think this might, well, y'know, be a
problem
. Instead, I just tried to take advantage of it.)
-So, when I realized I was going down, that nothing could save me, I decided that the best course of action was to try and make my buddies look good.

-And I PURPOSEFULLY blew the claim. I had gone over the claims in great detail. I knew the town's max boost limit in the original was two, but that scum could get boosted three times. I knew everything I needed to in order to make a maximum claim.
Why didn't I?
A: Think about it. If I had nailed a claim perfectly, of any power role, gotten it correct, done everything right...would that have stopped the lynch?
Nope.

B: I figured that if I made as MANY possible problems in my claim as possible, they'd ALL be pointed out, thereby allowing my mafia buddies to learn from the mistakes posted in-thread. You know, if the town had three boost levels like the scum did, then they'd say I was forgetting one.

C: Also, I was overstretched. Nobody can handle fifteen games and make the quality of posts (Ummm...not "quality". Long, yea, but if they were of quality, I wouldn't recieve THAT much negative attention for them. :P) that I normally would.

As for me breaking my meta of claiming my actual role, I really wanted to draw out the town's booster. Y'know, maybe not force a claim, but make them scream to the mafia, "Hey! Look! I know this guy's lying and is scum, because *I* am the role he claims to be!" I had originally wanted to claim a role along the lines of a one-time booster, who can also sense how many boosts another player has (my cop ability was exactly that [Same as Sajin]. That the town had one of these was shocking, and I was kinda hoping it would be brought up, "Maybe he's just claiming his scumbuddy's role"). And then I decided having the two powers together wouldn't be a good idea.

Ah, well...
I tried
--poor choice of words.

At least nowadays, I know better.
(I really wish I could play regularly [mainly, to prove these aren't empty words when I say that I have gotten better], but as it is, I can only come here Tuesdays and Every Other Thursday [sometimes not even that often. <_<] from 6:20 PM to 7:00 PM--40 minutes twice a week doesn't exactly cut it when trying to play a game of mafia.)

We didnt need this. Also we would have appreciated being involved in your plan because we were wondering what you were doing and both me and kmd were bussing you.

Mastin you really have no idea how powerful a cop claim could be and how many times town has lost games for assuming that only town get cops.

I could've sworn I mentioned it somewhere, Porochaz. <_<

And, Tajo, I was powerless. I needed a boost to do anything. My cop claim would've done nothing, without a boost. AND I would've gotten a counter-claim (didn't *know* that at the time, but I WOULD have, and I DEFINITELY would not have been believed--I hadn't tunneled enough to be in my cop meta), anyway.

You weren't really a cop. But you did have all the information from the start that a town cop would be getting on a nightly basis. Scum often do.

Like I said before.... I had absolutely no idea I was the cop. I thought I was a informational support role until I recieved a boost.

But whatever, you did not know that I did not know at the time.
