CN, why does that semi-serious question any more likely to come from scum? Explain.

Chevre voting Chesskid for making a pressure vote that doesn't pressure is weak...
especially
when there was already a wagon on chesskid. Just because he did something that doesn't achieve the purpose of pressuring, doesn't make him scum. Also, others have brought up how the vote still pressures the target (albeit not as much).

Unvote, vote: Chevre
.

Go go competing wagons!

@chesskid: So there is a reason? In that case, tell me why you think I'm scummy or your vote will have no meaning at all.

Well put, Jesse. :D

Bolding mine. I'm sick of hearing this as a justification for blatant scum tells. That logic is

It's because you seriously suggested lynching him on policy. Policy votes are notoriously anti-town, and andrew hasn't even done anything yet.

Ok, so Chesskid and Smashbro are scum. Akira and implosion are town.

Vote Chesskid

To anyone with a problem with L-1 this early, suck it.

I've seen a few chesskid games where he says stupid shit and I'm thinking "the guy's obvtown" while he's being attacked. This isn't one of those games.
3-2 as scum and 5-8 as town

I don't think chesskid is scum so none of you can expect a hammer from me. I think he's moronic town, running his mouth off because he thinks he's going to run shit when instead he's made himself an easy target and shot his credibility to hell. I think Neutrality is the most likely scum on the wagon. His vote was largely under the radar, with craptastic reasoning, and slid through everybody's expectations because it rides so easily on top of the rest of the wagon.

On D2 onward? Not very much at all, but when we're at P5 D1? That's all I've got to go off of.

I, too, would like to hear more from Chesskid.

It's notable, to say the least, how Sleepless is very vigilant in his L-1 placement; no matter what he says, however, I will

suck it.

gandalf, do you think it would be less worthwhile of a tell if it took him longer than seven minutes to opinion-flip like that?

Why the wagon in the first place. I sort of missed it being put together.

I am usually against wagons this early as there is normally something fishy about them.

I provided a small case in addition to my vote, which I believed to be pretty bold and out there. I'm sorry you felt it was under the radar. The reasoning for my vote was semi-craptastic, but this early in the game there really isn't any good reason for a vote. Besides that, I meant to lay my vote on him in this post, but I neglected to.

By the way, you seemed to miss smashbro's vote which was thrown out very weakly for the two contradicting posts about Gandalf (which, compared to the other stuff chess has pulled, is relatively insignificant). Oh, and you forgot SA's vote with weak meta reasoning, if you can even call that reasoning. SA also blatantly put chess at L-1, opening him up to Gandalf's "absentminded" hammer. The two former votes were just after mine, and the latter seriously looks like a staged accident. How is my vote scummy and under the radar, while theirs slips right under your nose?

--

You're all so sure of yourselves.

"All day?" Gandalf sneers, "We don't need all day. We got scum, right here. Haul 'em up boys."

It's not long before Chesskid is dangling from the rafters, gurgling and gasping for air, while the rope brutally crushes his windpipe.

Soon enough, it's all over. You lower his body to the ground, confident that he was the one you were after, the killer in the shadows.

Confidence turns into horror, as, after emptying his pockets, you find that he doesn't even carry so much as a pocket knife, let alone the butchers knife needed to make that kind of a hole in the mayor.

Chesskid3, VT.
Was lynched Day 1
