You know...It would probably be in our best interests to get a few rounds in before our life support's disabled...It's hard to catch scum without air. I like air. Air is good.

REGIS's processer begins to hum and the screen goes dark. A few seconds later, the following instructions appear:

Now that everyone has selected a category, I will be distributing the questions. Feel free to discuss the answers amongst yourselves, but everyone will need to submit their own response.

Be aware, also, that wrong answers will result in my disabling REGIS access from that individual's cryopod. Cryostasis will still function, but any other commands submitted to me to be processed for that stasis period will be ignored.

Now, on to the trivia:

AIR: On May 6th, 1937, the Hindenburg crashed and burned into the Lakefield, New Jersey airstrip that was its intended destination. From what city did the zeppelin's first, and last, journey originate?

FIRE: In the first season of The Apprentice, Bill was the only candidate who didn't hear the fated words, "You're fired." Which of the sixteen candidates was the first to be eliminated?

AndrewS
Dmi
Leonidas

WATER: SCUBA divers are familiar with the dangers of decompression sickness, or 'the bends,' but this malady is caused by an excess of what gas in the diver's system?

Bengel54321

Mastermind of Sin
Quailman

Finally, a friendly reminder: Life-support will be disabled in 97:50:00. Once all answers have been given, I will unlock the cryostasis pods.

Hmm.... couldn't the town win by threatening anyone who posts an answer with lynch? If the mafia can't act at night they can't kill us, after all.

Definitely.

But it will go against the spirit of the game. Maybe Fuldu should implement something.

A) Don't outguess the mod. He will probably have mechanics implemented to counter this.
B) No. Not in the spirit of the game.
C) I assume you're talking about doing that right away - definitely not. Then we're random lynching only because by giving no answers, you block ALL choices including information gatherers.
We could maybe use a modified version later as a role block but it depends on a myriad of aspects.
What if suspected cop and scum both choose same category? You're making them both impotent. You have a 1 in 2 chance of lynching scum in this situation but it will come basically only in endgame.
Ergo, you have a 1 in 2 chance of losing.

I think what he meant was the town doesn't lynch anyone, the mafia can't kill, therefore there's a nice happy ending.

Since the hindenburg question is about the airship's first voyage, I figure it must be from somewhere in Germany right?

I don't remember where in Germany but I think it's about a 50/50 between
Kiel and Berlin with it more probably being berlin.

If anyone else knows more, please help us poor air folk out :)

I have no clue about th Apprentice question. I only watched the second season.
But from what I know about the apprentice, weren't the girls eliminated first? So, it's probably a girl's name.

As far as I can remember it was the girls who had a winning streak in the first series of the Apprentice, causing a corporate reshuffle a few episodes into the series. I'm pretty sure about the air question though, my sister is a diver, but I'd rather have the people who chose the question to answer it themselves.

As for my own "Earth" question, my guess would be that it's a corny comedy. But unfortunately comedy it's not my genre.

I'll have to give the Hindenburg another thought...

Well, the mafia probably need only one person to carry out the kill. If a group with a question doesn't have an answer, then that is more likely to hurt the town rather than the mafia.
